This hotel is walking distance to the water (not a beach), a park, and a wonderful shopping and dining area - tons of options!Extra towels were available (even though we didn't use them). Beach towels would have been a bonus. We drove to the beach. Biscayne Bay is beautiful!Really appreciated the plates, cups and silverware in the room. We wouldn't have rented without the fridge and microwave - those are valuable features. There was a bottle of wine and 2 water bottles chilled and waiting for us in the fridge - a very thoughtful touch! It would have been nice to have a more comfortable chair (and possibly 2 of them) to sit in. It seems pretty impossible in the small space, but in the evening we couldn't sit and relax or eat our breakfast anywhere but on the bed.The linens were awesome - great towels and sheets. I appreciate white - you know they are clean :)Communication with the host was easy, she was very responsive. Directions were easy to follow.Free parking at the hotel. Beautiful view from the pool of the ocean. The young man attending to the pool area was kind and helpful. The penthouse workout room also had a great view. Coconut Grove was busy - but not filled with partying spring break high school and college kids.We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
We had a great stay at this property. The hotel was very clean and the pool area was terrific. The gym was clean and spacious, and our hotel room was just as advertised. It was easy to communicate with the owners/managers.
Room was very nice, small, but nice. And who spends much time in a room when on vacation anyway? We felt very safe and the included parking was great! We had everything we needed. Central location to many area activities, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. Hosts were prompt with replies to any questions we had.
The Arya is in a great location and the free parking is a huge plus. The unit itself is very cozy and comfortable, and I really appreciated the wine and water in the fridge. The bed was comfortable and the decor is really cute. My unit was fairly quiet though you can occasionally hear honking/music from the street--it is Coconut Grove after all!
I had a few communication challenges when I extended my stay by a day and ended up having to check-out/check-in again which the front desk didn't know, and then I got locked out of my room later that day. The rental company has several numbers you can contact, but no one answered any of them when I called to troubleshoot these issues (and at least one sounded like a fax). Text responses varied in speed but communication was always positive.
