I always love staying at this La Quinta location. It is my go to over the years for any quick stay I have in miami. Staff are always helpful, friendly, and courteous. Facilities always meet needs. Its close to any chain restaurant and pharmacy you could need. I did find this time around that the floors were dirty, so much so that socks were black after walking around. My card would not work when I came back in one afternoon halfway through my trip and I am very careful about keeping my cellphone, car keys or other cards next to it. It was quickly rekeyed and I was able to get in, but it was a bit inconvenient. One problem that was over a few nights (due to no fault of the hotel) there were car races up and down the street from about midnight to 3/4 in the morning. Kept me up and the racing engines jolted my senior parent and 5 yr old nephew awake with quite a scare. I don't forsee either of these issues hindering me from staying in the future. May just have to ask for a room further to the back building of the hotel. 😁

Clean and comfortable room. Front desk staff personable and friendly. Airport shuttle bus driver assisted me with my bags all the way to my room, that was fabulous (I’m old)!

Pool was closed for all 10 days we stayed. Laundry machine were very expensive. Limited Breakfast selection. Rooms in a picture is one thing, room in reality completely different. Housekeeping team were very loud on the halls, even if you have the "Do not disturb" sing you will hear them. Talking random things about coffee, lunch, etc. I will fine better option next trip for sure.

Staff was friendly… property is terrible… pool was closed for the days I stayed there. Room had mold on it, my aunt , who was staying with us, got sick because of it. We noticed a strong weird smell when we first got in… we couldn’t tell what it was… I think it was the mold. Breakfast is not good at all… second day we ate McDonald’s breakfast instead… Tv, didn’t work, it would turn on, but could make it work at all. Hair drier didn’t work either. Bathroom door wouldn’t close shut. Unfortunately, I have to say it wasn’t the greatest experience we ever had. I wish, this app allowed to post pictures. So I can show proof of what we mentioned.
