Beautiful property. My only complaint was the people next to our room, let their children run around in what seemed like tap shoes at 11pm. I had to go knock on their door and asked them to please quiet down. We had an early flight the next day at 5am. Other than that this hotel is gorgeous and workers are so polite.

During my stay the pool was under renovation so the hotel had us go next door to their sister hotel to use the pool. I thought that was a huge inconvenience because it lacked privacy. You had to walk out into the street to get to the pool. Then at the hotel bar the menu had brunch drinks such as mimosas and Bellinis but the bar doesn’t open til 5pm… the bar opening at 5pm in Miami should be a crime. Just say you don’t have a bartender on shift, I would’ve accepted that lie instead. Overall although this hotel was so close to the airport it was relatively quiet. I wont be staying here again though, the staff was not nice and condescending.

Finding a good quality airport hotel in Miami is always a struggle for me. I usually only book 4/5 star hotels but most of the 4 star hotels are old and worn out. I reluctantly booked with Sonesta as it is classed as a 3 star, however the reviews seemed to convince me to give it a try! I’m so happy I did! The property has been recently renovated so everything is clean and comfortable. The room was modern, the bathroom was clean and the bedding was comfortable. I could smell the sheets were fresh. I received my complimentary drink and discount on food as my vip benefit. I was also given extra time to check out as a VIP member. I ate from the restaurant twice and both times the food was delicious. This has now become my MIA airport hotel of choice. My only complaint was initially waiting longer than expected for the shuttle bus from the airport . Luckily I wasn’t in a rush so this didn’t affect me. Hopefully this doesn’t happen frequently.

The hotel is very centrally located. You are close to everything. It is very clean and feels welcoming when you arrive. The rooms were renovated, very nice and modern. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

Our room was the furthest away, there’s no bell service and I had to take all of our belongings all the way to end . There wasn’t any safe in the room upon check in, we had to do a room change and weren’t assisted with that. The security brought our new room keys not a front office representative. Attitude by the desk agent wasn’t pleasant
