Violent Employee and Unreachable Host

I could elaborate on our experience, but I'll keep it brief. One of the owner's employees attempted to forcefully enter our room, displaying aggressive behavior and yelling in Spanish, as he didn't understand English. Despite arranging a 1PM checkout with the owner, the employee seemed unaware and insisted we leave by 11AM. Fortunately, we had the security lock engaged, preventing him from entering. As a woman, this was a frightening ordeal. While I considered calling the police, time constraints due to our impending 17-day cruise prevented me from doing so. Furthermore, the photos on VRBO misrepresented the cleanliness and condition of the rental. We've used VRBO regularly, and this was the first time I've rated a rental less than five stars. Typically, the photos and reviews accurately reflect the rental's quality, but this time was an exception. We even left the rental cleaner than when we arrived. Attempts to reach the owner by phone have been futile, as the provided number goes unanswered without voicemail. Even VRBO chat failed to connect me with the owner after the incident. VRBO has been notified, and we hope this prompts action to remove the owner from their platform.

Decent and convenient

This location was perfect for what we needed. We were staying in Miami for 2 nights before our cruise left. Smaller than I had imagined from the pics but it worked. Convenience store across the street and a decent place to eat called Yes. Within walking distance to Walgreens, Publix, IHOP and other nice places to eat. A great walking/biking path, short walk to the beach. Overall satisfied with the rental. Much older building but decent. Nice pool with lounge chairs. Unit included 3 Beach chairs and an umbrella.

Great little place!

My wife and two kids stayed in the apartment for 3 nights. It was perfect. The apartment was clean and very functional. We knew it was small when we booked it but that was fine. The beach access was amazing, we spent 1/2 our time on the beach and the other half at the pool. Carlos was a great host, he answered questions immediately and made sure we were doing well. We'd absolutely stay there again - 5 STARS!!

Spring Break Trip

The overall cleanliness of the property was ok. There was bugs in our bathroom trash can twice (don't know what kind or if that was normal). The room has a huge closet and it was nice to have beach chairs to bring to the beach. The lobby is nice but the entire elevator and the hallways to the rooms smell weird. The little bar was not open (not sure why, disappointed in that). The walls are paper thin, we heard an argument and people just being loud. The pool was great though, the highlight of this place. They do not provide you with more than one roll of toliet paper which is NOT suitable for four people for 5 days. The beach was secluded and very nice.

Nice pool, right on the beach!!

The room was just as depicted in the pictures. The beds were super comfy and the room was clean. I have to admit I was a bit worried when I received the address after booking. The reviews of this property (not necessarily this particular room) were not good at all. To our relief it was a nice spot, nice building, the staff for the most part was great too. The pool is very nice, and the beach to swim in was right there!! Myself and my 2 children stayed the night before we embarked on a cruise, and I also needed a place to stay and keep our luggage after the cruise since our flight the following Sunday didn’t leave until 10pm. I was able to reserve a cabana by the pool. We had an enclosed gazebo and a locked room with shower and washroom. It was perfect for our long day after the cruise. The fee was $60 which is reasonable. We spent the day by the pool, beach, and took the free Miami trolley for some shopping. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star was due to a couple things. One of the elevators was broken, and because we were on the 8th floor with lots of luggage we weren’t able to take the stairs, which caused us to miss an Uber. Also one of the staff members, a kid in his 20’s was using his phone near the pool area and he was clearly having a very loud yelling match with his girlfriend. It went on for approximately 30 minutes and it was a very abusive conversation on his end. I asked him to lower his voice or go someplace else as anyone in a 100 ft radius could hear him. He basically just gave me “the hand”. It was very unprofessional and if I were the property manager, or an owner of a condo I would certainly want to know. From overhearing the conversation, it sounds like he worked as a valet. Overall, this is a great place to soak in the Miami Beach sunshine.

Great Time Had by All

Wonderful location! Right on the beach. The room was as expected. We fit 3 adults and 2 children comfortably for 2 nights. The entire process went smoothly. I would have given 5 stars but we had a mishap with the elevator. We got stuck just before the floor and had to pry the door open. This was a building issue and certainly has nothing to do with this unit.

It was a nice and ideal location if you want to be close to the beach but there were some items i was disappointed about: 1. Not really a stove but more like a hot plate for limited cooking 2. small fridge and can't fit much inside 3. disappointed that i had to pay an additional $30 at time of check in which is a cost outside of the VBRO agreement I did call the host and he stated that he made me aware with documents which I never received it outside of the reservation agreement. All in all - a pretty ok stay.

Mi esposa y yo nos sentimos cĂłmodos, tanto en el Apart 810 en el 8° Piso, como en el Hotel "Casablanca on the Ocean". La atenciĂłn del Propietario y del Front Desk, en general es muy buena. TambiĂ©n muy satisfechos con el personal de Valet Parking. En el Bar de la Pileta del Hotel, nos atendieron de maravillas y Desayunamos bien a precios razonables. La Pileta es muy buena y la Playa del Hotel es muy linda y tranquila. La ubicaciĂłn sobre ese Sector de la Collins Avenue es tambiĂ©n ponderable. ConclusiĂłn: CONFORMES CON LA RELACIÓN PRECIO/CALIDAD,tanto del Hotel como de ese Apartamento en particular.

Excelente departamento!!!!

El departamento tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia cĂłmoda. Lo Ășnico q fallo fue la cocina, que por razĂłn q aĂșn desconozco no funciona con las ollas q se brindan pero si con la pava q hay. No sĂ© si es algo de las ollas o la cocina. Pero se compensa con la excelente ubicaciĂłn de la propiedad. Enfrente de un 7-eleven, un Walgreens a 2 cuadras y un publix a 4. El edificio tiene una gran pileta y un acceso a la playa excepcional. AdemĂĄs cuenta con valet parking gratuito las 24 hs.

Nice Place For it's cost, but tight for 5 people

It was a very good price, the apartment was in a very well located building, and everything was very simple and clear to check in and out. The only thing, if you are renting for 5 people it is tight, there isn't much room for 5, so I wouldn't stay a long time with 5 people in the apartment.

EXCELENTE relaciĂłn Precio/Servicio

Excelente ubicación, muy linda playa, el departamento, tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar una buenas vacaciones, si bien no tiene lujos, esta bien equipado, para una familia con dos niños. El hecho de que el estacionamiento y valet parking esten incluidos en la tarifa, es muy bueno. También resulta muy conveniente que tanto el personal del hotel, Carlos el propietario como Zenia su Property Manager, hablen español ademas de ser muy cordiales y serviciales. Zenia que esta permanentemente a disposición para resolver cualquier inveniente, vive en el mismo hotel, lo que hace que su respuesta se muy råpida. La piscina es enorme y esta siempre muy bien cuidada y a disposición hasta las 11:00 pm, ¥mas que bien!, demas estå decir que estar frente a la playa y tener el acceso desde la piscina hace todo mas cómodo y placentero. Un departamento sin dudas para recomendar.
