Disliked: Cleanliness
The house had great character and was beautiful — conveniently located within walking distance to the beach. However, the cleanliness could have been better. There was hair on the shower wall and on the master bedroom sheets, which made it feel like the cleaning wasn’t thorough. The master shower window lock was broken, and one of the upstairs beds looked like it hadn’t been made. There was also only one extra roll of toilet paper, which wasn’t ideal for our stay. I called the property number and left a message, but unfortunately never received a call back. Despite these issues, the property itself is lovely and has a lot of potential with better cleaning and maintenance.

Very well-equipped property in one of the nicer parts of town. The backyard alone is worth the stay. The hot tub is plenty big, and the sand volleyball court was a hit with our group. The screened in porch (with a TV!) was also lovely.

While there were things to like about this property, we were quite disappointed in a number of things. The pictures paint an overly flattering picture of the space - it felt almost like this property was forgotten about over the course of the summer. Overgrown areas in the backyard, including in the bocce court which rendered it unplayable. Lots of doors that didn't close properly, including a bathroom door. Two of the four rooms upstairs had significant issues, including a "bedroom" that shouldn't be listed as a bedroom. The downstairs space was nice and accommodated our group of 7 well, but some safety and amenity issues there as well. We've stayed in this area every summer for 15 years and this is the most we've paid for a rental, and we found it very overpriced for the quality.

Getaway weekend

We had a great weekend. Enjoyed a little getaway without the cold starkness of a hotel room. Shopping, taking in a college basketball game and wandering the beach during the winter.

Great Stay!

Great house for a chill weekend with friends. We could hang in the open kitchen/living room or screened in pouring, hottub was easy to get in and felt great, we used the bocce ball court a lot, and ended the weekend in front of the firepit. Lots of beds and space to accommodate everyone.

Great Fall break getaway

We loved this rental! The house is adorable. The backyard was absolutely perfect for our kiddos. They enjoyed many games of volleyball and riding bikes all over the neighborhood. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. It was a peaceful and quiet area and the walk to the beach was great. We will absolutely look into staying here again! Thanks for a great fall break. The only things I will note is that there was no toilet paper or paper towels provided which was fine but maybe I missed that on the listing. Also, I would have liked to sweep up before we left but I could not find a dustpan. And there were no dish towels or dishcloths that I could find. Other than that everything was great!

Dune Blast is a blast!

Fun property! The backyard is definitely a highlight. Quick walk to the beach and zoo. Great area, close to outlet shopping and shops. We would stay here again just for the backyard.
