Good experience for the money

Pros: Service Cleanliness Activities Food Value for money
We used this as a base for a Spanish property search on room only basis and stayed for 3 weeks. The apartment we were in was clean and seemed to have everything needed for self-catering, and the maid service frequent (Tuesday and Friday each week). Cleaners were friendly and did a great job for us. Only downside for me was I found the bed a little too hard for my liking, and the sofa the same. Having said that, the service and friendliness of all the staff was amazing the whole time we were there (late April to early May) It's close enough local bars and restaurants if you like to eat out, but the lunch at € 11.50 was amazing value at the resort if you want to hang by the pool, and it was always good food. There seemed to always be activities going on around the pool so if you like that, you shouldn't be disappointed. Bear in mind, everything is either uphill or downhill once you move away from the beach on a lot of the Costa del Sol, and this is no exception, so if you're not going to be using taxis, which are expensive in our experience, be prepared. It's not that steep a walk from the beach (approx. 1 Km) and a drop off at one of the bars is always an option or you can pre-book the free shuttle from the resort to the supermarket / beach area. I think in high summer, you'd struggle to find a sun bed at the pool, and the restaurant would be crammed, but all-in-all, we had a pleasant time here and we would consider returning. It was great value for money.

Spacious Room

Pros: Everything but the wifi charge.
Cons: Have free wifi in your room.
Location: Close to lots of bars and restaurants.
Spacious comfortable room with on site restaurant. Only downside is have to pay for wifi in your room. The free wifi in the restaurant finishes at 6.30pm for some reason. Not used to paying for it, so may not consider staying here again.

Crown Resorts Club Apartments Mijas Espanja

Ihan ok aparttementos. Etukäteen ei tiedä mihin viidestä paikasta joutuu. pää-reception Club Marbella on pienen altaan ympärille täyteen ahdettu paikka. Olimme Club Delta Mar nimisessä paikassa lähellä rantaa. Meri lähellä ja joistakin huoneistoista merinäköala, mutta vilkas A7 tie kulkee hotellin ja rannan välistä ja aiheuttaa jonkin verran liikenteen melua osaan huoneita. Positiivista on kaksi uima-allas kokonaisuutta ja mukavat huoneistot. Sopii lapsi perheille. Negatiivisena puolena palvelut olivat melkein nollissa = ei aamiasta, ei ravintolaa iltaisin ei kauppaa yms. Minibussin saa tilattua jolla pääsee esim. syömään muihin Crown Resort kohteisiin -> Toimii mutta vie tuhottomasti aikaa. Oma auto suositeltava, vaihtoehtona tutustua aikatauluihin ja kulkea julkisilla busseilla. Yllätys oli että paikka on ns. RCI kohde ja edustajat yrittävät kaupata konseptia majoittujille.

Keskitasoa vaatimattomampi hotelli

Hotelli koostuu viidestä eri kohteesta. Meidät sijoitettiin kaukana ravintoloista ja päähotellista olevaan Club Caronteen. Sinänsä rauhallisesta hotellista oli aina kuljettava minibussin välityksellä Crown Resortin muihin hotelleihiin. Huoneisto oli tilava ja käytännöllinen, mutta siivouksen puuttumisen ansiosta muurahaiset valtasivat sen viikon kuluttua. Muiden Crown resortin hotelleiden uima-altaat ja palvelut olivat hyvät.
