First time in Milan and wasn’t too sure in areas to stay. Hotel was in a great location, near lots of bars and restaurants and the metro. The staff were brilliant from the moment we checked in and during our stay, they were friendly and efficient- they could not do enough for us. The breakfast buffet is amazing, lots of choice and so fresh. Will definitely be back to Milan again soon and can’t wait to stay here again, it’s a really good base.

The hotel is located next to a canal. There are a lot on nearby restaurants taking advantage of the proximity to water. Beware that mosquitos can be bothersome in this area, so consider using bug repellant The hotel is spotless. The staff were very friendly there is a nice rooftop swimming pool with a bar nearby. There is a rooftop fresh air restaurant open for lunch and cocktails at night. Coffee is complimentary in the lobby. There is a large courtyard for smokers and nonsmokers, with comfortable seating and a foosball table. There is an Uber/taxi stop outside the entrance. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to any traveler to Milan

The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Our rooms were clean and modern and very well maintained. We loved the vibe of the hotel with good music in the lobby and good energy as many entrepreneurs come there to work during the day - which was not distracting or inconvenient. There is always candy and treats in the lobby and the first round in the mini bar is free along with snacks in your room There were like 93 restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Other than Italian - we had some amazing sushi - Haruka Sushi - only 8 mins walk and great Mediterranean too - Due Tradizione - same distance. Note - Navigli is a very lively area so it does stay loud outside into the early morning - but the earplugs they provide made this no issue for me whatsoever. It was actually kind of fun just watching and listening to how vibrant this area is. We felt safe at all times. We will absolutely stay here again.

Excellent service throughout our entire hotel experience. Great check-in with Paolo! The bar tenders were excellent at the Roof top pool and bar throughout the week. The same can also be said about the wait staff at the breakfast buffet downstairs everyday! The neighborhood is phenomenal and so easy to access along the two canals just outside and around the corner.

Recommend!

This is a hip place to stay with mostly European travelers. The hotel staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast is incredible. The location is a bit off the beaten path of Milan, e.g. far from the central train station and Duomo area but the neighborhood is funky and interesting. The room is ok; nothing to write home about. The bed is vaguely comfy, mattress probably needs replacing soon. The common areas are really nice — inside and the courtyard. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Nice hotels, but could have been great

We had a lovely couples weekend in Milan. The hotel was in a great location and is very modern and stylish, however some key things are missing - information on parking rates was incorrect, minibar consisted of water and 1 coke, which was highly disappointing, as they made such a song and dance about it, nothing more than I would expect in a 1 star hotel. Pool was nice, but way too cold to swim, despite 30 degrees heat and no sun loungers or umbrellas and not enough seats, so our sunbathing and swimming day didn't happen at all, which was disappointing and the main reason we booked the hotel. Breakfast was good, nice choice, but some produce not up to standard - baked beans hard and sour, bacon hard and fatty, salmon very fishy / inedible. Overall a mixed bag, wanted to love it, but come away feeling a bit ripped off - at 270 euro / night I expect a lot more and unfortunately don't feel it lived up to it's 4 star rating...

21 House of Stories Navigli is an interesting and very nice hotel. Definitely worth a stay. You are near everything. The front desk was professional and knowledgeable about the area. We left our baggage and checked in before we went to go walking around. They put our baggage in our room for us. Super nice! Ask for a room away from the canal with the bars. It could be noisy. If that happens, don't hesitate to call the front desk and they will quiet it down. Our room was clean and there were actual free snacks and drinks! Lots of interesting information about this hotel/restaurant group throughout the room. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made. They have a restaurant on site and treats awaiting you in the lobby. We enjoyed our stay. Easy transportation is available.
