Fantastico Stay in Milano!

Really welcoming and lovely boutique guest house in a nice area near Piazza Tricolore 30 minute walk to Duomo Di Milano and shopping area. Would recommend eating on the canal side at Navigli too. Overall we loved Milan and its people!

The room we stayed in was large and spacious and beautifully decorated with old movie posters. Beds were comfy and the staff were great. Trying to find it was a little difficult due to a market blocking the entrance on our arrival.

First of all, this guesthouse was the worst. The website said the desk open time from 8am to 5pm. But when I contacted manager at the airport he told me to call when I arrived because they were open until 2pm. When I arrived at 3:40 pm he got angry because I couldn't understand his English well, It was such a hard time, and what was even harder was that he got angry every time I asked him again because I couldn't quickly understand his difficult explanation of where the key box was and room . I think they should have given a detailed explanation by email or sent me a pictures,so that all guests would understand easily and there would be no trouble. The shower room leaked water to the outside floor every time I showered, so I had to wipe the water off the bathroom floor after showering. The sink was clogged and didn't drain well. there was nothing to see around the guest house, so I had to use public transportation to get around. The room was too cold, so I slept wearing a long jacket .Breakfast is not a buffet, but a menu is sent to you to choose from,and it is only delivered to your room, and breakfast is only open from 8 to 9:30 a.m. There aren't many options either .Many people will miss breakfast. It was the worst service I've ever had during my trip.😞😢😡

Emanuele was an excellent host. The property was very nice: it felt very safe. Transportation (public) was also very accessible. We went to the Duomo Di Milano, which is about a 25 minute walk from LOttava. We would definitely stay at L'Ottava if we were to return to Milan.

This property was in a great spot, walking distance to the big spots in Milano but still far away enough from the city noise at night. Clean apartment, with breakfast offered in the morning. We got there early and were allowed to drop our bags off before check in. The property manager made everything easy! Would definitely recommend

This small, family run guest house has 9 rooms and is located 25 mins walk from the Duomo. Brand spanking new renovation and lovely super clean and comfy rooms. The property contacted me early to online check in and order my breakfast. This is from a menu where selections are made and it is then delivered to your room. The staff were very pleasant and I really enjoyed my stay. It's on the first floor of a typical Milanese 5 story block with entrance courtyard and parking at the back. Easy to access with door codes and keys and easy check out. The bathroom is large and well appointed. A fridge and tea/coffee making facilities finished it off beautifully. Good price, lovely neighbourhood close to the main metro, bus and tram system as well as walkable. Top spot!

I was there in late August and it was very warm in Milan. The room was stifling when I arrived bec it takes a key in the electrical slot to turn on the electricity, and while the AC was slow in cooling it down, it maintained a comfortable temp. WiFi was good. I streamed some Netflix and held a Zoom. Shower was good. The area was very quiet but it was obvious many shops and stores were closed for August. But there were still a good number of options. After choosing items day prior, The breakfast was delivered to the room at the specified time.
