From the street this hotel looked like an abandoned property. It has a YMCA sign which made us rather suspicious if we were at the correct location. Looks like the property could use some facelift on the exterior facade with perhaps some better lighting and professional signage so that customers would know that it is the place for lodging and not a hostel as my wife thought that it was. Interior room was very nicely renovated with decor for the Western theme. We could not figure out how to use the heater if there even was a heater. Anyhow, the room seemed able to maintain a cool 64 deg all night which was fine. Bed was extremely comfortable. The shower took a good 10 minutes for the water to turn warm. Could be a good lodge eventually with aforementioned improvements.

It is a huge room with lovely decor. Can see vision of the hotel, would have been great if the bar was finished with renovation. If it is as amazing as the rooms it will really add to the downtown area by giving the downtown a bar that is not a casino bar which is a bit more upscale. Some shopping nearby. Bakery around the corner is great.

Our suite had plenty of room and was nicely appointed. We did find some areas that could’ve used a little more cleaning such as dusting the table and cleaning behind the couch where we found a dirty sock and vacuuming out the couch. Also, the bed was extremely squeaky whenever you shifted your position. We would stay here again though.

Amazing and exceeded expectations. Teh suite was nicely furnished and generous in size. Entry was easy and host was easy to get a hold of. Coffee in room and a full sized kitchen. Right off of downtown so it’s quiet but walkable to shops.

A Western Themed Gem

This is a good example of not judging a book by its cover. These suites are in an old stone building that was formerly a YMCA. We were skeptical until we walked through the door of our suite. It was a huge from with high ceilings, professional decor and modern updates. We were only sorry that we were spending just one night.

Room was spacious and very comfortable. Would not park in the parking lot in the back of this very old building that has been remodeled into a hotel. Felt unsafe. Location is near Main Street which was nice to walk to the local coffee shop Main Street grind, which has great coffee and good food.

It was an old building in an old part of town. Very dark. Half the sign was burned out and staff wasn't present. We were later told by the owner it was sel check in. Very uninviting. We did not stay there as it was very late at night.

We had a wonderful stay at Eaglescape…twice! We stayed in the cowboy suite on our way through to Canada and enjoyed it so much we stayed in the Executive suite on our way back through. Both rooms have a beautiful decor, are very spacious and comfortable. Devin is wonderful. Very helpful, communicative and made check-in so easy. Gotta say we appreciate all of the renovation/revitalization and vision Devin has done for/with this unique property.
