Disliked: Cleanliness
Pet-friendly means not clean
We chose this place based on cost and location. We were not bringing a pet. However, I think that probably a lot of people who do choose this unit do so because of pets. I think that pet owners probably have lower standards for cleanliness. This was probably the dirtiest VRBO I've ever stayed at. I've probably stayed at a dozen or so, so not a huge sample size. Noticed pee on the toilet, bathroom garbages not empty, dingy and dirty bedding, and just a level of dustiness and dirtiness that wasn't the case in other VRBOs. My wife was coming later and brought a bunch of bedding from home so we solved that problem ourselves. We communicated all this to the host who told us that they alerted the cleaning crew to our concerns. The host said that the crew always takes pictures. So they basically ignored our messages. They they did say that I could send them pictures, but we cleaned the pee off the toilet and the lack of cleanliness isn't really something that shows up in pictures as much as you just get from an overall feel of the place. I just think that they have a different standard of cleanliness then I am used to. So if having a very clean and tidy VRBO is important to you or a host that cares about such things, I would not recommend this place. If you have pets and don't care about cleanliness, this place would be fine. But you probably want to bring your own bedding.
