The hotel was very welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and had a view of the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the bar staff who were very chatty and entertaining. The bar food was excellent, tasty and very well presented. The hotel is situated beside the beach so there are some lovely walks. I will definitely be going back. A great get-away place to relax.

Fabulous Getaway
Pros:The Staff and the Food
Cons:Not much
Location:Cliffs of Moher are 20mins away, surfing in Lahinch, Walks in the Burren, golfing - plenty to do about the place
My Partner and I decided to take a short break with our 5 month old son for his first trip away. So we picked the Armada and it was ideal. The staff were brilliant and made our stay very comfortable especially with a baby in tow. They humored him, played with him and made us feel very comfortable.
We booked B&B only and had intended to explore the food about the area, but the food was so good in the hotel (bar and formal restaurant) that we ate there every evening.
Our room was overlooking the ocean and had recently been renovated and was very comfortable and we relished time just sitting in the window chilling watching the waves.
We couldn't recommend this place any higher.

Armada Hotel
We had a lovely few days at the Armada Hotel despite building works being undertaken that we were not advised about beforehand which limited the facilities available. Having said that the customer care was excellent and so was the food. The beds were the best we had slept in and spacious too. Perfect location by the sea and and central to other attractions.
