The lower half of the house was tastefully decorated and in close proximity to downtown retail shops, restaurants, parks, and the interurban bike trail. We loved it and would definitely stay there again!
It is a wonderful apartment in a great location in Cedarburg. Very clean and comfortable. So thankful the AC worked beautiful on my near 100 degree weekend!!! Would recommend to anyone!! Loved it!!
Modern suite in an older building in historic town . Just a short walk to galleries, shops , restaurants etc . Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans so you cook on site . Parking available on site .
The accommodations were so nice! Clean. Comfy. Walkable to downtown Cedarburg. The hostess was very nice and helpful. I how to stay there again in warmer weather.
This property was so great for our weekend trip! Communication was so smooth and efficient and itâs truly the perfect location! Would highly recommend!
I had a great experience staying here. The place was clean, had everything I needed, and was in a nice quiet location. I was looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay while I enjoyed the holidays in Cedarburg and Milwaukee and this place met all my expectations. I look forward to staying here again the next time I visit Cedarburg!
This was a great place to stay for our trip to Cedarburg. It was a very short walk to the main shopping and dinning area of town. We would definitely stay here again.
My sister and I enjoyed a day away, and it was the perfect spot for two 40-something moms looking to relax and connect. We spent most of our time walking to shops and restaurants in Cedarburg. Back at the house, we enjoyed its quiet location and slept very well. We hope to return!
Chrissy is a wonderful host this is the 2nd time we stayed at her place. The town is so cute and within walking distance of 2 blocks. Very clean and quiet street. Thank you Chrissy. Next we want to try Strawberry Fest
The property is in a highly trafficked area. The kitchen could use curtains, the living area TV didn't work, it wasn't connected to anything and it could use a larger mirror in another area so two people could get ready at the same time. It did have everything you needed from coffee to lots of towels and all appliances were nice. It did have a nice kitchen area, but curtains would give you some privacy at night. It is within walking distance of the main street with all the shops, and restaurants, so that was a plus. Don't know if I would stay there again though.
My friend and I stayed here for Country in the Berg! It was wonderful, a great location, easy to walk to everything. Also, a very comfortable, cozy house, had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be to add a second mirror somewhere, possibly a full length one on the wall outside the bathroom or on the back of the bedroom door. It would allow for two people to get ready at once instead of trying to share the bathroom room.
Chrissy is a gem of a host! Excellent communication and so gracious. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The unit has been nicely updated and the people who live upstairs were very quiet and did not bother us at all. The cost of this rental is very, very reasonable and saved us money versus booking at a hotel, plus we got so much more! We can easily say that we would recommend staying here. We will be back in Cedarburg next summer and are looking forward to staying here again. Thank you.
The property was exactly as advertised. Nicely furnished and stocked with anything you could need. We enjoyed being so close to downtown Cedarburg. We will definately stay here again.
Here are our "pros" for our stay at this property:
*Everything was clean
*Water pressure in shower was great
*Appreciated having washer/dryer
*Home has some nice updates/decor
*Comfy king bed
*A/C worked well
*Appreciated that it was pet-friendly
*Covered porch/entry very nice
*Location is convenient for walking downtown
Here are our "cons":
*Yes, it's an old house, but the bathroom is super tiny and there's absolutely nowhere to put anything
*I ran out of hot water before I was done with my (15 minute) shower
*Faucet in bathroom sink is completely in the way = water goes everywhere when washing your face
*Broken towel bar in bathroom
*Only one mirror in bathroom (hard for two people to get ready at same time)
*No room-darkening shades in bedroom = streetlights at night and sun in the morning interfering with sleep
*As a person who wears glasses, uses a mouth guard at night, and likes to stay up late reading, I hated that there was no nightstand or lamp on the side of the bed I used
*No window privacy shades in the kitchen or the office
*Perhaps a small table/island next to the stove for cooking?
*Driveway is small and railroad ties next to the guest space are tippy and dangerous (we parked in street)
*Traffic (and especially truck traffic) early in the morning and late in the day is very noisy
So while this property is nice with a good location, we unfortunately would not stay here again unless some of the issues (minus the traffic noise) were addressed. Thank you!:)
Small town living, great, warm, desirable over all.
The place was very clean, no clutter like too many pictures on the wall, too many pillows or other sachky, it was tastefully done. The neighborhood is very quiet, peaceful.
We were very happy with the location. Right off the main street, but a very quiet area. The house was cozy and even though there is someone living upstairs, you don't even know that they're there. Communication was fast and easy. We would definitely stay here again if coming to the area.
Thank you, Chrissy for sharing your home with us!
Very nice and cozy property convenient to stores and restaurants, yet set in a neighborhood setting. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable sleeping. Will return in future and recommend to family and friends.
