The property was located near many things to do. We had rain storms and the power wasnât affected by the storms. Lights flickered a little but that was it. The garden in the back of the house is impressive. Plenty of room for 7 people. Maybe another comfy chair in the living room. WIFI was great. For booking my first air b&b it was wonderful. I would go back.
Charming farmhouse - loved the history of it. Christmas decor was still up and it was picture perfect, cozy and inviting. Really liked having the 2 dining tables for dining and playing games. Cold temperatures outside - the main floor was a little chilly - we found closing the door to the living room helped hold the heat. Bedrooms were nice and warm.
Cozy and wonderfully decorated Historic Home which lent to a unique stay. Had local family members for dinner on Christmas Eve. The dining room was spacious and the kitchen accommodating. Plenty of room with beautiful antiques in every room to explore. Staircase is a little steep but accessible.
There were 5 guys ages 65 to 80 staying in this vintage farmhouse. We had 4 bedroom and 5 beds so the accomodations fit our needs. The house is on a four acre lot and the grounds were well-kept with a large raised garden for viewing. Wildlife wandered onto the property throughout the day, in particular, turkeys, deer and squirrels. The house had a full-functioning kitchen, a den , living room and a large dining room. There was an outdoor patio on the backside of the house with a propane grill and a fire-pit table and there was a front porch viewing the street. Our host was very accomodating.
Loved the house, decorated very tastefully. Definitely had enough room. Needs cleaned a little better. Ants in quite a few rooms. At least we found bug spray and that helped. The master mattress needs replaced, it is so old and we fell to the middle and could not sleep on it. Awesome to see wildlife in the back yard. The house manager was very quick to answer any questions.
Six friends stayed at the farm house and the accomodations were great. The double tables in the dining room served as one food table and one game table and worked great for us. We had a wonderful time! The host was helpful and responsive!
If you like coffee, I suggest bringing your own mugs, the coffee cups provided are small. If you use Keurig K Cups, bring your own Keurig coffee maker.
We would definitely recommend this house for families or groups.
We rented this property for a gathering to celebrate my mom's life (memorial service). With folks coming from across the country, this location provided us the space and comfort to reconnect, relax, and enjoy each other's company in the most charming space. The kitchen was fantastically stocked (even with a crock pot!) and the spacious dining room was perfect for our large meals, visiting, and playing games. The grounds are wonderful, with lovely gardens, great lawn space and a fabulous patio with a firepit table. The whole house is very warm and inviting and the bedrooms were nicely appointed. This place is the perfect example of country charm and we could not have been happier with our choice! Oh, and the host contact was wonderful too!
Seven of us stayed at the house and it was plenty big for everyone. Have 2.5 bathrooms was a big bonus! The house was very clean and very well stocked with everything one might need. The owners were attentive as we even asked about a crockpot and they graciously dropped one of for us prior to our arrival.
The parking was great with plenty of room for multiple cars.It was so close to everything we might need - groceries, sporting good store, desserts, restaurants, and even downtown was just a 15 min. drive or so.
The only thing that didnt work out was we booked to early in the season so the gas grill was unavailable. Not the end of the world and the owners said it should be out in May.
All in all I would certainly rent this home again in a heartbeat.
