Not a good vibe

Room was ok clean but everything was a bit shabby. Did not give you a safe feeling being there. Stayed the night to catch an early flight out of Milwaukee but will not stay there again

When we arrived at our room after checking in, our key cards were not working for the room they gave us. The door opened from the inside revealing another guest in a dirty room saying he just came back to get his charger. They were able to give us a new room, but that was just the beginning. Staff are nice, breakfast was standard. New rooms reeked of cigarette smoke, our pillows and sheets were stained and had hairs on them. Trash had not been fully cleared out. After sitting in the hot tub for maybe 3-5 min, our eyeballs were stinging. Not to mention possible dirt or other brown substance on the floor in the pool room. Overall look to the building was dingy, but they did have a "pardon our renovations" sign displayed. Luckily we were only staying 1 night, but for any longer stay I'd recommend spending a little more for something that you can actually feel comfortable in

Had a family emergency come up in Milwaukee and needed a cheap room and Sleep Inn delivered. The TV was a lil small for my personal taste, but included a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge in the room.

Where's the staff?

Upon arrival to this hotel, there was a line of customers waiting to check in and no visible staff anywhere. We were there at 9pm so not super late, but no one could find anyone. Several of us walked in different directions to try and find someone but there was no one there. I had already paid online or we probably would have left. Apparently the one staff member working there had to leave the whole place unattended to take someone to the airport via shuttle services they provide. I thought this was very bizarre for a hotel like this. Once we got checked in, things were ok.

Nice, but...

The AC/heater didn't work. The room was comfortable because of the ambient heat but could have been a problem otherwise. There wasn't much left for the free breakfast at 8:30am

The walls were paper thin. It was crazy how much we could hear from the surrounding rooms and hall. There was banging going on from 3:00-7:30. You could hear people speaking each other through the walls. After a long day it was not a restful experience. We got a refund thank goodness and front desk understood.
