They did not have my reservation. I did get a room. The room had been renovated or was being renovated. Closet space but no way to hang clothes. No lights on the night stands so when you turned off the main lights you had no reading lights. The water came out a light brown and the tub took several hours to drain. The soda machine was outside but was not plugged in nor was there place to plug it in. The office person was rude. He did come plug in my tv when I couldnât get it to come on. He had to unplug the microwave so I could have one or the other. They needed three items plugged in but only two spots behind the cabinet. When was going to check out at 8:30 Sunday morning the office was locked. I rang the bell on the door for 2-3 minutes when he came to the door. He barely opened the door to take my room then shut and locked the door. He was obviously still sleeping. I was not able to get my receipt.
I was good with the sparseness of the room and lack of somethings like no iron, but have ironing board, no blow dryer, no chair, no closet, o hanging place for hosing, no drawers, no decore, u til there was no bleeding heater. That sucked. Big time sucked. Thin comforter, towels feel like sand paper, double rooms in back of redone hotel on drainage area if rains we will be flooded out. I will not go back.
Good price close to everything downtown could use light controls near the bed with maybe a lamp instead of the overwhelming light overall in the room you can only turn off near the entry door good tv with lots of choices bed was kinda hard but I think it was kinda new maybe just needs broke in there is hand soap shampoo and body wash provided that is decent also there is a nice sized refrigerator and also a microwave looks like the place was recently updated with what looks like they still may be working on some things also it was very quiet which was nice
the hotel was conveniently located next to the highway but very quiet. We could have easily walked to so many quaint shops for lunch and dinner. However, traffic was easy to navigate. The gentleman tending the front desk was very quick to get us checked in.and friendly as well. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would definitrly stay here again.
Check in went well. Young man was very Pleasant
He explained they had just opened and a few items were on order but had not arrived. So my room did not have a chair, clothes rack or cups. The second day I ask if they had any kind of chair (even a folding) the young man said he would look. On my second request he said give him 5 minutes. It has now been about an hour and no chair or call telling me he could not find one. Also there is no ice machine. I am going to sleep now. Checking out in the morning.
Great location, close to downtown (& Amtrak 0.4 miles), across street from highest-rated restaurant in town. Renovating, so mostly new items, just some extra noise & dirt.
Room was updated and relatively clean. Bathroom was full of mosquitos and no window so not sure how they got in. TV remote sound adjustment was not working properly, hit it once and it wouldnât stop until it was all of the way up or all of the way down.
We stayed here for the Canton trade days weekend. It was very clean and the staff were nice and friendly. Lots of restaurants nearby. There were a few electrical issues (outlets and light switches not working properly) and the bed was super hard, there were no lamps either. Other than that it was wonderful! For the price it was a bargain!
