This was a fabulous decision. Staying here was so wonderful, I give it a five star. Communication, access, the hosts, an absolutely a most comfortable and cozy condo. While the weather was colder this past week, we really enjoyed staying in and being lazy, The sofa and the bed were so comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, and the bathroom had plenty of towels and linens. The views were unbelievable from morning to night. Parking was always available. Communication happened every day and it was very appreciated. The only thing I’d say is a couple things are a bit tired and maybe in need of updating. Some of the kitchen utensils, and the bathroom fixtures are starting to rust. But certainly not a huge deal. The condo does have chairs in beach toys, but those are a bit worn out as well. There are plenty of coffee filters and salt and pepper shakers. We were told none of that would be there, but other guests had left them behind so there is plenty! Overall and absolutely incredible vacation. Newest favorite discovery - The Surf Hut (bar and beach grill) just a mile or two away. We love the 30a and everything between Destin and Panama City. We can’t wait to come back!!!

The unit was very clean and the bed was so comfortable! We didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on those amenities but it was so clean. Overall the unit was more dated and “tired” than we were expecting but it was comfortable with great views. Thank you!

The views are stunning! That’s the best part of the property. We were excited that the pool was re-opened but it closes at sunset which means we didn’t get to use it, as we usually like to go after dinner. There is also not much to do on the beachside and tram service was not included (I thought it was for some reason). To make this rental better, a better balcony set up (chairs with arms) would be nice because the view is really all you’re paying for with this particular rental. Rental was clean and comfortable. However, we will likely book back at Baytowne Wharf area again in the future.

Beach Getaway

Note we went at the end of May and the pool was still in construction and looked like it would be another few months before it was completed. This wasn’t an issue for us thankfully, but would have been if we’d had our kids with us. With the listing saying the pool should be done the end of March, I would have never expected it to still be under construction.It is also important yo note that while this listing is on VRBO, after booking, ALL communications were handled through their rental host and not done on VRBo. I actually almost missed an important email where we had to sign something because it looked like a spam email. So just keep that in mind and check all your emails!The property itself is nice! We love San Destin and have stayed in this condo (not same unit) before and enjoyed it. This unit is right next to the public beach access so the beach can be a little busier in front of the condo. While they did have kitchen items for cooking, they had very minimal items. They didn’t even have a flat cookie sheet. So just keep that in mind if you plan to cook while there. They do have a Keurig AND a regular coffee maker. Another thing to make note of is that they have a dehumidifier in the unit, which is great. However, make note that it does an alarm sound when it is full, so we got woken up by it really early one morning! Overall, we had a great stay and the condo was clean and enjoyable.

Great long weekend!

We had a great stay. The view is as pictured and access to the beach couldn’t have been easier. The listing was accurate and the came stocked with enough of the basics to get us by! We appreciated that the community was gated and codes were needed. The only downfall was the pool under renovation. That wasn’t an issue the property owner could fix, and we understood what we were getting when we were booking! When this is fixed for the summer, I would highly consider booking here again.

Overall stay was great! Absolutely beautiful views! 😍 Listening to the waves were calming & relaxing. Me & my family had a blast & will be going back. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the dishes that were put away in cupboards were not clean & had to be rewashed in dishwasher before use. Plus, the bathroom could have been updated a little more, shower curtain was an issue. But, other than that it was a awesome stay with family!! đŸ‡ș🇾 ❀

Gross and disgusting

I am very disappointed in our resort. First there is construction that was never mentioned and that we can see from our room. We were welcomed with a dirty floor and grimy dirty baseboards. In the bedrooms there was a broken closet door that gives no privacy with remotes missing in the bedroom and dirty stained carpets. In the bathroom a toilet seat that doesn’t stay up and outlets and door frames that are covered in dust and grime, and a shower/ hot water heater that doesn’t provide enough hot water for two people to each take an enjoyable shower (10 minutes each), moldy tile flooring, previous visitors toothpaste on cupboards. The air conditioner filter was also very unpleasant to look at. I was looking very forward to my stay and now wish we went with our first option. For something that is 5 stars, would not get any. It’s hard to enjoy vacation when the place you eat and sleep in is just as gross as a 1 star hotel. Will not be recommending to family and friends. Was reached out to after sending the review and it all came back on us saying we should have let them know if this during our stay. But a VRBO should be in top notch condition from the moment people walk in the space.

Business and vacation

Overall very nice. Accommodations were nice but a little dated. Only two minor irritations: 1) upon checkout cleaning crew (2 young ladies) came 15 minutes before 10am while we were moving our belongings out. We told them we were taking some items to our car and would be right back to remove the rest. They were entering the room and we had to ask them to wait outside until we removed everything. We had to ask them to get up from sitting in front of the doorway so we could get the loaded cart out with our belongings. We didn’t feel comfortable with them entering the room where my wife had her purse and jewelry out so I had my wife stay in the room they had opened until I got back to remove the rest of our belongings. It was 9:50 am when we were out of the room. After leaving and on the road about 1-2 hours after departing I got a call from management that the inspector that checked the room “after” we left said one of the wrist bands were missing, I told him we never used the wristbands(4) and that the black plastic tie had not been broken holding them together during our stay. He said he would have to talk to the condo inspector about it. I never heard back from management. Maybe they should do the inspections while we were present to prevent conflict. Only thing about the stay that was annoying was that the shower curtain really didn’t keep water contained well as the air flow in the bathroom kept blowing the curtain ( a shower door would prevent this).

Noise

While we read that the building was having some renovations done we were not informed at the time of booking the incredible noise level that we encountered from 8:00am-5:00pm. It sounded like a jackhammer was being used on our ceiling. You couldn't talk over the noise. Also, we had no access to the building's pool or any pool for that matter. That too was a disappointment. The location was great and the unit was clean. I'm sure it would be a wonderful place to stay when the building was not under construction. I think for anyone staying during this period it's important to be fully aware of what to expect.
