The lobby staff and breakfast attendants were thoughtful and very helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The rooms were always cleaned by the maids, clean towels provided daily, beds made and they never knocked on the door if the 'Do Not Disturb' sign was hanging on the door. A definite plus for me! Overall, an excellent stay!

I always go for a hotel with a pool and if there's a hot tub, even better! The Hampton Inn and Suites Mission Viejo delivered, and I got my fix. Also the breakfast provided each day is always a plus. As for the hotel room, it was quite nice! Very spacious with a separate living room, kitchenette, and bed. The bed was not so comfortable. The pillows were firm and nice for sitting up, but not so much during slumber. There was a screw on the floor, which could have been bad, but I found it before one of us stepped on it. There was a nice restaurant next door, a nice dive bar and convenient store as well. And perfect for a short walk before bed. The only real bummer was that they did not allow us to have extended checkout because we weren't members of the honors program. They didn't do much to promote the program, but it was pretty demeaning for them to just say "sorry you're not a member, we can't allow it."

Stayed after Wedding at Arroyo Gold Club

Close proximity to Arroyo golf club. Clean rooms, comfy beds, nice pool view, and decent breakfast with hot food served. Staff were not particularly friendly, but decent. Check-in was easy, checkout even easier. I’d stay again.
