Prior to our arrival, we had great communication with the owner(s) Kim and Sam. We were able to check in early, which was helpful after a long drive. There is a property manager Houston and his dog "Sippy" who greeted us daily. The site was secure and easy to find off the highway, just outside of town. The trailer was clean, as pictured, and stocked with clean towels and plenty of kitchen supplies. The hot water worked great for showers and the gas grill was a nice place to make dinner. We also used the free laundry room before we left and that was handy. The challenges we had included the main fridge, which did not cool for the 2 out of 3 days we were there. There were troubleshooting sheets included in the trailer for various items and we also Googled videos for that model. We emailed the owner a second time, that first evening, after realizing the fridge had not kicked on after 8 hours, and we never received a reply the rest of the stay. There was an outdoor fridge so thankfully we lost minimal groceries the first 24 hours. Regarding climate control in the trailer, understand the temperature outside was over 100 everyday. The a/c in the camper struggled during the hottest points of the day until 7 or 8 pm and the trailers are not shaded so, a challenge after a morning/afternoon of hiking. Our final night in the trailer, the wind died down and we were able to make a fire in the firepit by the office. They sell wood for $5/bundle at the office, offer comfortable chairs to relax in and there were water spigots adjacent to the pit to douse the embers. The stars were beautiful.
