I absolutely love the historical features of the hotel. Its very beautiful. Everything was clean and the manager was so friendly and helpful. We are passing through from South Texas. My wife and I will definitely come back when we have more time to stay.
The lady who checked us in Wednesday night (4/9) was amazing! I wish I could remember her name but she was the assistant manager and was extremely helpful. This is a beautiful property and we would absolutely stay here again if in the area. So much charm. We loved this property and the staff.
Great place and wonderful location that is in the heart of the historic district. Lots of interesting places are within an easy walk. I loved the large oak trees on and near the property. The management went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and represent southern hospitality very well. I enjoyed the courtyard and it's peaceful ambiance.

Enjoying the history related to this property.
The courtyard is beautiful.
The elevators were not working so this created added trips back and forth to the car to unload items. The sink stopper was missing and there was a lightbulb out in the bathroom.
The staff were very pleasant and
Apologetic about the elevators.
The property itself was very nice for an older historical âhauntedâ hotel. However, the beds were really high from the ground and its hardwood floor. I had to make a pillow bed on the floor for me and my 1 year old. Had I known this I wouldâve picked a different hotel. The stairs are also kind of dangerous for children. So if you have little ones traveling with you reconsider this place, without children absolutely stay it was a cool experience.
Wonderful antique design with the fountain and exposed brick features, but completely lacking a mini refrigerator and microwave would be completely wonderful, not to go down to the kitchen. Just to reheat fool items.
We stayed in a historic two bedroom room that was spacious and lovely. Cathy, our check-in host was friendly and welcoming. She gave us tips on area restaurants and was fun to chat with. Great location convenient to the downtown area. Free parking. We had a very pleasurable stay.
Arrived at 3 pm, the check-in time, but could not check in until 2 hours later. They said the room was not ready. Then, when I finally got in the room, there was a pubic hair on the toilet seat. No towels or washcloths in the room. The AC did not work.
Malaga Inn was a great hotel in the heart of the Mobile downtown district. The king room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff and Jordan - owner was very nice and greeted us. We will definitely book another stay when we are in town.
