We came up to Modesto just for the night as we needed to be in town early the next morning. So we really didn’t make great use of the hotel other than to sleep. Everything was fine except I found the bed sheets to be very stiff and rough, rather than the soft sheets I’m used to in a Hilton bed. Too much bleach or starch or something.

The janitor lady was a little rude almost cleaning to close to my feet when I was sitting on the chairs close to the elevator. She looked upset. I hope iit wasn’t because we were speaking Spanish. Or maybe was having a ruff day

Overall a good hotel

Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Rooms are spacious but bathroom needs wider sink top. It's uncomfortable for two people to share small sink countertop. Toilet did not flush properly, had to hold handle all the way. There's no microwave and AC did seem to work right.

Great location, with ample parking in their lot across the street. Only downside is the proximity to rail line, with regular trains passing through (not the hotel’s fault!), which did interrupt sleep a few times in the night.
