I just left the property this morning 3/16/25, I was told it was an okder Holiday Inn and it showed. Very outdated amenities, the staff is the ONLY thing nice about the resort. It has been taken over from a Spanish group, hope they have deep pockets their going to need them. I DON'T recommend this place for a nice elegant vacation, but for something cheap its a go

Catalonia is an aged/aging property that is kept clean. However, the stay was very good value for money, price for the all-inclusive offerings. The internet service in the room was weak-to-non-existent until the serviceman installed a gadget to improve it. The food was OK - not mind-blowing; but adequate in offerings and taste and quality. The staff was more than willing and helpful.

Heat choice for family

The hotel is an older property, the lamp shades in the room were in need of replacement, room was clean, bathroom showed wear but was clean, bed was extra firm, overall it was a good stay. The grounds are well kept. The buffet had many options and was good. Child and picky eater friendly. The pool and resort is made well for families

I had an inconvenience with my room on the day of check-in on which I addressed it with front desk and the Manager was quickly able to assist and change my room right away with no hesitation. The service and attention was great, It was my son’s bday during our stay and they surprised him with a birthday gift when we got back to our room from an excursion. Was pretty happy with my stay.

The hotel was amazing, I had stayed at the hotel with my wife and kids from March 3-8, the food was extremely good and the hotel staff besides 1 of the bellman was okay. The beach was made for kids because of the shallow depth of the water which is a plus. The little island was incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, If I could leave less than a 1 star for the check in experience I would, the bellman named Marlon was very unprofessional and rude the way how he speak to the guests is beyond rude and his demeanor is disgusting, maybe he thinks he owns the hotel, by giving orders and telling us what to do in a very distasteful way. That bell person needs to be moved from dealing with the public before the hotel lose future guests.
