The room had mold on the bathroom door and baseboards. The shower had mold and the shower head was so corroded that the water barely came out. No hot water. The front desk staff were not inviting and friendly. The hotel is very dated and smelt of mildew. The gym don’t have lights and there was no air conditioning. Major update needed and staff need a refresher on customer service. The restaurant staff however were very nice and friendly.

I really regret having to write this review as not a reflection on most of the individuals we met during our stay. I stayed at this hotel for one night during January 2026 based on a recommendation. After an extremely long travel day, we were very tired, and the warm welcome from the check‑in staff was truly appreciated, helped us feel comfortable right away and made a great first impression. The room was suitable for a short stay, and both dinner and breakfast offered enough variety for us to enjoy a pleasant meal. A US$50 hold was placed on my card for incidentals, which I understood. Unfortunately, checkout was where the experience changed. After waiting for the room inspection, we were told the room smelled of smoke and that someone had been smoking inside. None of us smoke, and never have. I explained this, and also mentioned that we had been wearing citronella bands, which have a scent but are definitely not cigarette smoke. The staff member simply replied, “Well, that is what we were told,” in a very dismissive tone. Whilst they may have had challenges like this in the past it would have made a difference to have felt as though I was being listened to. She did mention in the end she would need to contact the manager; however I was so frustrated by then thatI left annoyed indicating that could hold on to the deposit if that is what they really believed.s.. The staff was amazing. Loved the vibe and all staff were helpful and friendly. The food was very good and available all day long. The drinks were good although they frequently ran out of popular liquors like vodka. The hotel itself needed updating and repairs. Our bathroom door didn’t even close all the way and was always cracked open. Our shampoo and body wash dispensers did not work. The gym needs air conditioning and treadmills did not work well. Would stay again though as the staff was amazing.

It breaks my heart to actually sit here and write this review however, I stayed at this hotel in 2015 and the service was better. The hotel was clean, and service was spectacular. this trip 10 years later was terrible. The hotel is rundown poorly cared for our room was dirty no blankets there was roaches on the floor and then we got switched to another room, which was even worse television didn’t work plugs didn’t work and wait for it. The containers that held our shampoo condition and show gel was used water bottle. I don’t know who why they thought that was a good idea, but that was terrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I was hoping that I could post the pictures of the water bottles in the shower with the shampoo, the shower gel and the conditioner written on it with big bold ugly black markers but I didn’t get the option to do so. never again would I ever stay here or recommend to anyone…
