The room was perfect for us! So luxurious and what a fantastic location within walking distance to everything! If you want that true Carmel-By-The-Sea experience, stay here! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and professional! Lastly, the breakfast that is included is incredible! Fresh smoothies, tapas style breakfast dishes, etc. Not your run of the mill buffet that you get elsewhere. Highly recommended!

Why is breakfast mentioned as a highlight. Worst free breakfast I've seen at a hotel. One egg option was burnt hard boiled eggs, no meats, only breads with pasteurized butter. Huge disappointment. Rooms are tiny!! No hot water. Won't book here again.

Everything was even better than imagined. From gourmet breakfast to the gorgeous outdoor couches and water feature, to the outstanding service (Angel was amazing). My husband and I were thrilled with our stay and highly recommend Stilwell!!

Our room was lovely, clean, spacious, and well appointed. We could see the ocean. The hotel has a wonderful courtyard, with firepits and a very useful breakfast room. Location was fabulous, with easy walking to Ocean Avenue and a host of restaurants. We will plan on going again.
