Loved the room. It offered a simple view of the street below. Had my own fireplace that can burn logs which was very nice. The breakfast was delicious. Walking distance from fishermans warf and other local attractions. Overall, a lifesaver considering i booked a room there last minute because the othet hotel was terrible.

Property although dated was well maintained. Would stay here again due to its proximity to all attractions of Monterey. Right next to the historical Monterey adobes and first library in California! The breakfast was adequate and satisfying.

Cute little inn walking distance from downtown. Nothing special about the space. Everything was clean and bed was comfy. We loved that we could walk to downtown and to Cannery Row.

This was a great, affordable place to stay with parking and nice deck. The rooms were nice and clean but I was very hot at night, I am not sure if there was AC available. Other than that, it was great! And great location!

The property is very dated. The area is a few blocks away from Alvarado Street which is the main street downtown but not walking distance to Cannery Row. The hotel had no amenities. There was no house keeping but I asked for clean towels and shampoo and they gave me shampoo and a plastic bag and said when I came back from my day out I had to put all my wet dirty towels in the plastic bag call them and then they would pick up the old towels and bring new ones. I thought they had limited towels but there was a laundry room full of them. Ice machine did not work. Overall it was overpriced for an old motel.
