Dog barking non-stop all evening into the night

Hotel is very nice and in a great location. Issue we had was people next door brought a dog and left the dog from 6-midnight. Dog barking incessantly. Hotel security could not reach owners so nothing they could do. This is not on the hotel staff except that in allowing pets, they have to deal with pet owners who are not responsible.

My mattress smelled like urine, pulled back sheets and somebody previously had urinated on the bed. House keeping did notify superior of this matter. We had the 8th level ocean view room and all they did was put down on the second floor with no view and it felt like we were in cave!! Will not be going back!!

Good spot to stay in Monterey

Great location in downtown Monterey. Restaurant and bar on site. Pool nice. Hot tub needs a makeover. Tiles missing and a lot of wear and tear. Lobby nice and inviting. Rooms are spacious and updated. Double beds are a little small. Would recommend and stay again there.
