This is a recently renovated property very close to The National Memorial for Peace and Justice, Rosa Parks Museum, and the Civil Rights Memorial Center. There were only 2 of us in the unit and it is on the small side (still bigger than a hotel room!) yet has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We are vegetarians with diet restrictions so having a functioning kitchen is very important and the Renewal galley kitchen checked all our boxes: full size microwave, dishwasher, smooth top cooktop range, 5 cup coffee maker, an electric kettle (not only perfect for tea, but instant noodles, too!), cutting board, and even a selection of oils and basic spices. Justin, our host, was great with all communications. We stayed 2 weekday nights and the area was very quiet. There is a coffee shop 2 minutes away, and a vegan restaurant within a short walk or even shorter drive. We should have planned our trip to stay a day or two longer to take in all the historic sites and to visit the Memphis Zoo.
