Lake VRBO

The outside Lake facing decking was great. We spent most our free time on the deck. We had planned to kayak but unfortunately the kayaks had not not been tied off properly and drifted away the day before we arrived and were not found until late on our last full day. No offer was made to rent other kayaks or any other compensation other than a free late departure which was of no use due to travel plans. We were disappointed with the StayBettr management company. The property manager we met was excellent but the management company was very rules driven.The house was comfortable and the detached cottage with pool table & arcade games was fun.

Great house for our fall reunion

Perfect location for our group who hadn’t seen each other in over a decade. Stayed at the house all weekend, cooking meals, sitting outside by the lake, and evenings by the fire pit. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment which was great for our group. Property management was very responsive to questions and made check in/out a breeze.

Respite from southern temps

We enjoyed the cool NY summer temps, yet still warm enough to enjoy water sports. Layout of house is great! We fixed a lot of meals in. The Swinging Bridge Marina has a low key restaurant with excellent lobster rolls and is a five minute drive. Otherwise, you are a 15 minute drive to other places. This is not a tourist community. Don’t expect to find lots of extras in the community to entertain kids. Plan to be a the house, enjoy the water, and be unplugged.

Cozy Large Fireplaces and Jacuzzi Perfection!

I did puzzle over the focus of the rooms with fireplaces. Hanging hooks around Jacuzzi would be helpful for clothes and towels. Instructions on operation of the TV would be less aggravating. Overall, loved our stay! Won't be disappointed!

Everything you need for a lake house stay ! House was full equipped with everything you need. 2 washers and dryers ! Huge plus when traveling with a big group ! Plenty of towels ! Very comfortable rooms ! And the most amazing view ! Will definitely be going again !

A fantastic house in a fantastic spot!

Spent a few days with friends and family here...a much-needed weekday getaway for us. The house was very clean and comfortable, with all the expected amenities at our disposal as soon as we checked in. The location is incredibly quiet and private with just a few neighbors and the occasional boat passing by on the lake. We really enjoyed the lake as well as the hot tub and the large decks with lots of seating...very picturesque! The downstairs is especially well decorated and tasteful...a perfect place to chill and relax that feels just like home. Truly a wonderful experience all around and we will definitely return!

Great House for 11 Folks

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had 4 boys, 2 girls, and 5 adults ranging in age for 45 to 79 and everyone had a good time! Between the house and the lake and the rented boat our time together was fun and varied. I would recommend this home to all!

Excellent property with direct lake access, kayaks, decks, bbq, game room, outdoor jacuzzi. Everything was great including Lee Sartain who answered all our questions. I wish we could have spent more time here.

Girls Getaway

We rented this property for a girls weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday. The house was beautifully clean and spacious. There were plenty of beds to accommodate our group. We enjoyed the hot tub and soaking in the beautiful views. 11/10 would rent again!

The property in the winter was beautiful, and the kid's cabin was a great bonus! Shoe storage with all the winter boots was difficult and messy, but other than that, the rental was very accommodating. The fast response and open communication with the property manager was fantastic.

Best Mini Getaway!

Lee’s property was an amazing little escape from the city. Had the most perfect weekend with close friends. The place is massive and has anything you could possibly need for your stay. The only thing we needed to get was more firewood but everything else was provided. The house was easy to find, check in and check out process was easy and Lee was very responsive to my messages. I would love to visit again in the summer and utilize the lake!

The house was perfect for what we needed

The house was great, I wish we had more time there to utilize more of the lake and amenities. But check in was a little late and check out was a little early. So a Friday to Sunday only leaves Saturday. Remember this when booking. Also I do have to say one of the main reasons for renting this place was of course the hot tub, which wasn’t working and I didn’t find out until checkin. We were all highly disappointed with this as we are an older crowd that does hard physical labor. The house is beautiful but was a lot of money and Ik you can get that price with a tub. As long as the tub works I would Love to stay there again for longer. The owner did give back a refund for the tub not working so that was nice.

Fantastic stay on a gorgeous property

This amazing property looks even better in person than one can tell from the pictures. Modern amenities, comfortable sleeping accomodations and 3 full bathrooms made our stay one to remember. Lee's communication was phenomenal and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. Would highly recommend this lakefront getaway!!

Fantastic! Perfect for a family.

This was a perfect place for us. Teens, young adults, middle-agers and a 90 year old! There was something for everyone from the dock and a variety of kayaks, a tube, and a great place for the boat. The water was amazing. My 90 year old mom viewed it all from the gorgeous deck, with plenty of chairs, a lovely table, grill and fireplace. There were plenty of towels, and the rooms were lovely. Very clean, bright and the kids cabin was a dream for teens. The care taker was responsive and lovely, as was the amazing woman who cleaned the place. Can’t wait to go back!

The rain tried to ruin it...

But we persevered! We didn’t get to do all the outdoor fun stuff. But since we were mostly stuck in the house for the weekend... i wouldn’t want it any other way. Gaming in the kids cabin, bbq on the deck. trying new recipes in a fully equipped kitchen. it ended up being a blast. The cell phone service was spotty but the wifi was pretty reliable. There were a very few unfinished items, an alarm that went off, but the next group probably won’t have to worry about that. overall it felt as advertised and while you were aware the neighbors were present... it still felt like we had our privacy.
