A Great Find

Rooms are a bit older, but they provide a clean and quiet oasis after a day full of exploring. Also, shoutout to Rebecca who was so welcoming during our stay!

It’s a very old hotel that needs a face lift. It was conveniently located and I liked that. The girls at the desk were very helpful and nice.

Good location, the apartment was spacious. However, the hotel is very dated and not the cleanest. They only clean the rooms every 2 days. The bedroom had no main light, just a small bedside light. We were given disposable plates and cutlery for breakfast. We needed to use keys to access the hotel, breakfast area and lift. Overall, an ok for a short stay if you’re not going to stay in hotel for long periods due to the great location. Short walk from main sites in old town and a few metro stations.

It was evident that the undersides of the beds are rarely if not, never vacuumed. there was food, dust and dirt from previous guests that has been collecting under there for a long time. The layout of the suite made absolutely no sense having an AC unit in a tiny bedroom and no AC in the large living space that had two beds in it. This caused the person in the small bedroom to be freezing all night and the two individuals in the living room sleeping space to be hot all night. I stayed here the last 2 years for the music festival but will not be staying here next year due to the lack of cleanliness and illogical suite experience.

Decent Hotel

A nice hotel located near Old Montreal. It’s a little dated inside and the light on my bedside table was broken, but nice soaps and looks like breakfast will be nice. Not bad for location and price.

Wonderful gem in downtown Montreal

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay-staff was so friendly and since we do not speak French and everything was strictly French (in writing) it was great to to have bilingual staff to explain things-locations of places, etc It was walking distance to anything we wanted to do-we felt safe and parking was excellent Because of hotels.com and my level we were automatically given an upgrade and a discount on the underground parking At first i wasn't sure about the hotel-like a downtown older motel-BUT it was excellent Free breakfast provided was good too--it was not a fancy hotel with a bar etc, but lots of world travelers were checking in-families-older couples like us and younger generation-once again very clean and safe-security cards are used for every access point

Weekend in Montreal

Pretty good location. Walk to old city easily and parking garage was convenient. Breakfast room had the temperature set at a couple degrees below the sun. It could have doubled as a sauna. Room was aged but nicely equipped. Need a major freshen up but good for a couple day stay.

Nice place to stay, great staff, great location

Great location in a really hip part of town (near china town, saint laurene blvd and Saint Denis). Hard working, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and comfortable. Included breakfast is good and quite popular with the guests. I could hear 10 different languages being spoken at breakfast. Hotel also has parking at a reasonable rate. Good amenities overall… You’ll see some reviews saying that the hotel needs a refresh. While that is definitely true I balanced that with the more affordable room rate. Though I will say that for the life of me I can’t understand why any hotel has carpeting in the rooms. Carpets never look clean in a hotel. All considering good hotel and will definitely stay again.

A very good stay

You know whether a place is good or not through the people and just wanted to say the staff at the hotel did not disappoint. They are welcoming and nice. They readily greet you with a smile making the atnosphere light and nice. We brought with us our pet dog and was glad that we can stay at rooms that are not just designated for guests with pets. The place is clean and unlike the hotels we stayed before that are pet friendly, it smelled nice. You made our first travel to Montreal a pleasant experience. Merci beaucoup!

It’s truly a nothing special hotel. Clearly an old apartment building converted to a “upscale” motel. In room “kitchens” have nothing but a microwave and fridge. No safe from what we could find. Overall, it’s not a terrible spot, just don’t expect anything special. Decent location- accessible to transport and old town. Generally it felt pretty safe but I mean there’s homeless and drug activity everywhere in Montreal so just gotta accept it, and there was plenty in the area.
