I think the potential for the hotel is incredible but it’s lacking in a lot of ways. First the good: the location is incredible and easily accessible to just about anywhere in Montreal. I was there for Pride and the Village is just two blocks away. Truly can’t be beat. Other than the location there’s very little to praise. The rooms are dated, the beds squeaked, the shower pressure was awful. The “breakfast” isn’t much to talk about - felt like whatever day old pastries they could buy. The staff seems almost adverse to being helpful and for taking responsibility for anything. I got an email that check in was at 1pm but when I arrived around 2 was told it wasn’t until 4 (apparently online check in is available at 1 but not sure what good checking in online does unless you can access your room). The TV in the room was reminiscent of Michael’s “flat screen plasma” in The Office (IYKYK). Oh and don’t anticipate a “fitness centre” as the minimal equipment is barely useable. I want to stress again I think the place has a lot of potential… they seemed to be doing a lot of upgrades to it and I would stay here again for the cheap price but I really hope they take these suggestions to heart, though based on experience I feel they’re more likely to place the blame on someone else PS - Leila at the front desk was an amazing help.

Overnight parking is 52 CAD. Surrounding parking lots are about 14. Breakfast options are very limited with no fruit or eggs and no cleaning of the tables. The thermostat must be quite old, as it seemed to work with a mercury thermometer.

Pictures online are deceiving. Lobby is dark & dank. Breakfast area is dirty & underwhelming. Cleaning staff were friendly, other staff not so much. The neighborhood is under construction so the front street is a bit chaotic with drop off/pick ups. We found the bed to be comfortable and our room was clean. The elevator is old and clunky but seemed safe enough to use :) Short walk to lively areas / restaurants.

Les matelas moins confortable. La climatisation est centrale donc nous ne pouvons pas ajuster … Par contre, excellents croissants au petit déjeuner. Le hall d’entrée est très beau. La rue en avant est difficile d’accès en voiture car ils font des travaux avec la ville. Très bien situé, près du pont.

I like that it’s close to everything the breakfast they need to add fruits to the breakfast menu and the gym I was very disappointed the majority of the machines were down only the bikes was functional but overall I enjoyed my stay

The entire street is under construction, making the street a one way streeet without any option to off load . The staff was not helpful and not less than friendly. The carpet in the hallway and stairs is dirty. The room is in poor condition.

I’m very dissapointed and looking for a possible refund. From the pillows to the floor, everything was disgusting. I have pictures of yellow stains on the pillows, red stains from god knows what on the bed sheets. Random hairs in the bathroom. And to make it all worse, the entire street was under construction while there were also riots going on. Never coming back
