We had a one night stay. The room was a lovely size .Bedding was clean & the towels aswell. It was a comfortable bed.A great breakfast & the staff were amazing so friendly & helpful. Very close to all the amenities.
The hotel was undergoing renovation.
Really friendly and helpful staff.
Spotlessly clean.
Our room was in need of refurbishment, but bed was comfortable, plentiful hot water, and very quiet.
Will definitely come and stay again.
Has potential but needs to get basics right.
Room was not clean, dusty, stains, no mattress protector and stained as was bedding.
Staff friendly and reasonable included breakfast.
Overall if it was clean wouldâve been ok for price but wouldnât recommend due to cleanliness or room and bed.
Only a one night stay for a family get together. Sadly very dated, ready for an upgrade. The creaking of pipe work meant a sleepless night. Staff very nice and friendly and helpful but the upkeep lets it down.
Breakfast was ok helped by the very attentive staff.
Would we stay again, probably not :(
I enjoyed my stay, and I will use this hotel again. It's only 15 minutes from M6 exit 34 so a great place to stop off. With the sea front, just over the road, there are great walks along the beach. Much better than the chain hotels at the motorway services.
That said, this is not a new build hotel with everything brand new, out of the box. It has been in business for years and it has seen better days. Maybe I'd describe it as "well worn". On the other hand the staff were excellent: very friendly and eager to please.
Breakfast was filling. I ate enough so I needed no lunch and when it is included in the price of the room, that was two meals I didn't need to pay extra for.
The price of the room was low. Yes, there will be better equipped hotels around but when I wanted a bed for the night just off the M6 and a chance to walk along the sea front before continuing my journey, what else did I need?
I will use this hotel again.
The Room was horrific, you have a tap that wasnât fixed to the sink, it felt like it was going to break off in your hand, a window you couldnât shut, looking out of it, it was full of dirt and Scaffolding on the outside. All the wall paper on the halls being ripped off the walls. The floor in the bathroom feels like you are going to fall through it. The toilet and shower are within a metre and a half of each other and that is the only room you have, the sink is in the bedroom because it wouldnât fit in the bathroom. The Lady in Reception done her upmost to get the room ready for us, the bed was comfortable, the couple above us were chatting the whole night until 8 in the morning. So the ceiling and walls are very thin. The breakfast was ok and the man serving was very helpful. Luckily we were only there for one night.
Iâm gutted I didnât take photoâs of room 313. Hopefully with all the Scaffolding everywhere you are having a revamp.
I am absolutely convinced this is a hostel for those who are unfortunatly homeless. As soon as we arrived we were immediately relocated to their sister hotel. The receptionist was so nice. I think her name was Nicky. She definately gets 5 stars.
