Our little family vacation cottage is now CLOSED for rentals in 2026. Thank you to all of our previous loyal renters. We hope you are able to find another place with heart and soul like our little vintage cottage

short stay at the beach

excellent property for those who want a good location in "old Atlantic Beach". Easy to walk to beach, quiet, nice back yard, wireless connection was excellent for viewing streaming. A neat little house. I will definitely stay here again. All we needed but not like a shiny condo just built. I prefer the atmosphere of old Atlantic Beach and the traditional cottage feel. If you like that, you will really like this place.

Cute clean cottage.

The cottage was just right for us. It was immaculate and amply furnished with many cute decorations. It was a short walk to the beach and a few restaurants and the weather was great.

Perfect little beach cottage

Pictures do not do it justice. Very clean and cozy, accommodated our 2 families of four comfortably. Short walk to the beach, the fire pit was a great little bonus! Definitely plan to come back.

Castaways was perfect for our first trip to Atlantic Beach! The house was very clean and was a short 5 minute walk to the beach. We had an amazing time and we WILL be returning!

Cozy and comfortable

The description matched perfectly. The 2 inside bedrooms are spacious and the sleeping porch is great for accommodating extra people. The washer and dryer on site are great amenities for a beach trip. Would definitely stay again!

Couldn't ask for a BETTER VACATION!

The best little house I've ever seen! It was cozy, a short stroll to the beach, and well located! Since it's a peaceful, quiet location, we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The beds were tidy and comfortable. Everything you need to prepare a meal is in the kitchen. You can use the extra games and toys while you're there. It was, in fact, my favorite so far! The host provided everything we could possibly need! Overall a GREAT PLACE TO VACATION! We are ready to go back and will be returning!!

Best beach stay ever!!

This was the best little cottage ever!! It was clean, close to everything, a short walk to the beach, and so cozy! It’s a quiet area with low light so, we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The beds were comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. There are spare toys and games to use while there. It truly was my favorite so far! We can not wait to return.

GOOD STAY

Great place, backyard perfect for children, love outdoor shower, really like not having multi floor steps to climb. Just a few hundred yards from ocean, right on public access, not a bad walk.

Wonderful Week!

This was a very nice cottage. It was equipped with all we needed to have a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and tidy. The living room furniture was very soft and comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well. We loved the outside shower and having a clothesline for our swimsuits and towels was extra nice. Quick and convenient walk to the beach was great! We also were able to walk to restaurants and ride our bikes through the neighboring streets. We had a memorable week with our family and will definitely come back!
