Family getaway with the grandbabies.

The pictures from the internet are deceiving. Small rooms, the air condition unit on the wall must have had a leaky hose on the outside, had towels underneath and the balcony was always full of water. The shower needs to be deeper or different shower curtains, everytime you took a shower ther would be water all over the floor, very tight area. The Wi-Fi in the hotel, was horrible not a secured Wi-Fi and never had service.

We loved the location and amenities. It was lovely to be able to go from the beach to the hot tub and have a bar right there to enjoy too. The check in was smooth and staff was very friendly. Our room was on the small side but that was ok for us. The balcony was awesome to have. We really enjoyed sitting out there to enjoy hearing the ocean waves and to catch the sunrise in the morning. Everything was going well until check out time. The cleaning staff was clogging up the already slow elevators during the busiest time to check out. Then by the time we made it down to the restaurant for breakfast we were informed they "ran out of food". This was around 9:30am when it's advertised to be open 7am-10pm daily. We were extremely disappointed that they lacked the desire or ability to just make more food to accommodate anyone else wanting breakfast. There was nowhere else to walk to, so we had to wait yet again for at least 10 minutes for an elevator (a staircase is not an option at this hotel, so we were stuck) just to grab our things so we could check out to go eat. Check out also took much longer than anticipated because I was double charged for the room. I booked through Expedia and Expedia had already taken my payment, but the hotel also took a payment. I was informed I had to wait 3-5 business days just to get my money back that never should have been charged in the first place. We might give them another try due to the amenities and ocean front views though.

Nice view, lots of areas for improvement. Staff were not consistent with information and did not make it very welcoming. If you have your hopes set on comfort, bring TP because the options available are less than 1-ply and transparent. Breakfast is not included, but an additional charge but then the resturaunt is also under repairs. Coffee and Tea are an additional charge as well. If you are a family, we would not recommend as this hotel lacks safety features for kiddos and you're going to also be stuck with basic cable with a hotel that charges current rates for 2025.

Very nice pool and outdoor area. Had a guy playing a guitar and singing last night. Only complaint is you need to be able to adjust the shower pressure. It was really strong which is not bad but for people with sensitive skin would not been able to handle it. Plus would have rather had a door instead of a curtain on the shower. And the rooms need more light it was rather dark in the room.

Make sure you like dogs and won’t be disturbed by barking during the night. We were placed on a pet friendly floor without prior knowledge or options. Secondly, make sure you ask if there are any events or weddings happening if you are looking someplace quiet and relaxing. Lastly, ice machine was not working during my entire stay and no one attempted to fix it. One more thing, the total amount for the room listed on the website does not include the $19.99 parking fee charged per each night’s stay.

September Review

Room was clean. Downfalls 1. Shower curtain attacks you while you shower. 2. Mattresses is starting to need replaced, getting worn down & you can fell the space where everyone sleeps. Staff was nice & friendly. Management needs a lot of help. At the end of our stay, last day there was a wedding, the wedding party had people coming to the ceremony who were NOT paying guests & if the paying guest went out that night they had NO PLACE TO PARK when they returned. This was after the paying guests paid for parking. Went to the office & was told to park across the street in the dark & check back every so often for a parking place. I feel they needed more than one person in the office that evening & the unpaying guest should have been told to park across the street & leave the parking places for their paying guest, who had paid for parking for their stay. To me that was a very bad part on the management. Your paying guest were not taken into account only the wedding party. I was compensated for this encounter, but in the future management needs to think of the whole picture. Make sure there wedding party is taken care of & there paying guest are taken care of.
