We had a fantastic stay at the Zen Den. The area was quiet and peaceful. The home and room was very clean and well maintained. It was perfect for the 2 of us and we loved all of the amenities provided. Check in and check out was very easy! We had a question regarding the heat and the host responded immediately! The location was perfect for exploring Acadia National Park and we loved stopping at Bar Habor for some yummy food and shopping. Such a convenient location!

This property was small but it was perfect for our needs. Would not recommend for tall people because the sloped ceiling resulted in us hitting our head several times. Location was the biggest perk because we could get everywhere on MDI easily from our accommodations. The road noise didn’t bother us at all even though this property is on a busy street.

Great Stay

The studio is clean and in a great location to access Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. As described in other reviews, the ceiling is slanted and walls are thin. My husband bumped his head a few times and we could hear children playing in the other units. These two items did not hinder our experience.

We enjoyed our visit at the Zen Den. Location was great and it is nicely appointed for a small space. We did however find the slanted ceiling a challenge and bumped our head several times a day. That said, the host makes the most of the space and otherwise we had a nice stay!

Charming getaway in Acadia

The space is beautifully designed, combining modern amenities with cozy touches. It was very clean and the location couldn't have been better—nestled in a peaceful area, yet just a short drive to Acadia National Park and local attractions. The hosts were also fantastic, providing clear communication and thoughtful touches.

The apartment is spotless very chic UpToDate with everything. It is tiny but perfect for those who want to be outdoors all day long like us. My only problem was the noise it is situated right along a busy road and it took some time to get used to the cars

Cute and Cozy Space Close to All things Acadia!

The location is really great for visiting both sides of the island. Quick drive to almost everything. The space is likely more accommodating for shorter/smaller guests, as I am a 6' male and I bumped my head a few times on the angled ceiling. Was in no way a deal breaker, however this limited my ability to stand tall in about 50% of the space. Great amenities with full service free laundry downstairs. Felt very safe and enjoyed the stay! Unfortunately, other guests did not respect the trash policy and dumped food and other waste directly into the bins outside, which smelled bad. I also think it would be nice if the yard space was a shared space, as I didn't see anyone taking advantage of the space during my stay, yet it was off limits for the zen den visitors. I think making the yard a shared space would encourage socializing and make for a more enjoyable experience.

Just what we needed.

My partner and I came to Bar Harbor to hike, bike the carriage roads, and have a comfortable clean place to rest each night. This property is perfect for travelers planning to be out and about most of their stay. Perfectly sized for two and has just what you need. Very helpful to have washer/dryer in site. You can grab laundry detergent from the gas station just down the street. Great communication. Very clean. Will definitely be back again.

Terrific Studio in a Great Location

The unit is very cozy, good for one or two people. Exceptionally clean with all the amenities you'd need for a quick trip to Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Had a wonderfull time.

Our two-night stay in this adorable space near Acadia National Park was wonderful. Zen Den is a short drive from a number of amazing trails and the awe-inspiring views of Cadillac Mountain. It was a peaceful retreat for busy outdoor adventures. The space itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A highlight of our trip was discovering Peter Trout's Tavern & Inn - a must-visit for delicious food and warm hospitality. Overall, a fantastic getaway all around. Thank you so much for the stay!

So glad we stayed here!

Came with a friend to run the MDI half and explore Acadia. This place is small but so cute and cozy and very clean! Had everything we needed. Was nice to have a place to do laundry. Location was a short drive to everywhere. Perfect place to stay if you will be out and about all day and just need a place to rest and recharge at night! (Will say the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors conversations but we weren’t there enough for it to bother us). Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
