The best part about this property was the setting. Quiet, tranquil, close to town but not in town. The patio overlooking the river was gorgeous. Level access. Really nice firepit area but there was a burn ban in the area and it was pretty warm so we didn't use it. Super comfy bed. We didn't use the second bedroom. Low traffic area for walking pets. We went in the off season so it might get busier in the area with lots of short term rentals all around. The train going through woke me up. It's right across the road. It went through before 10 and only one night we were there and then the next day it was during the day. It wasn't a super fast or long train and I actually enjoyed watching it go through. The river is beautiful. Coffee on the patio overlooking the water is a must for summer. A couple fishing boats went by while we were there. I brought food to cook while we were there so I did make a suggestion to add a few kitchen items like foil, plastic wrap and cooking spray but we did without just fine. The recliners were at the end of life and a little rickety and hard to get out of. The property was clean, well maintained and I absolutely would recommend it AND hope to go back again. I can't see any reason a guest would regret staying here. Great communication from management. Very friendly, responsive and professional. I was most appreciative of being able to bring our dogs. THANK YOU!!!
