Definitely a 3 star hotel. The food was oily, lacked diversity, and was not of top quality. I also had to change rooms, because I was initially getting smells from the kitchen coming all the way to my room from the ventilation. There's also another hotel right next door that has an amphitheater setup that blasts music until 10:30pm every night of the week, and it faces directly on the hotel rooms, meaning you get very little peace at night if you're facing that side of the hotel. The only upside was the service in this hotel, which was impeccable. The staff were all extremely polite, warm and friendly. But yeah, a lot of improvements to be made before it becomes a 4 star in my opinion.

Outstanding with something for everyone.

My stay at The Grupotel Amapola was my first time going all-inclusive and it didnt disappoint. The hotel itself is clean, tidy, and very well presented - which continued into the room which was spacious, had a wardrobe and drawers, a private bathroom with walk in shower and a balcony. Everything from ameneties to the food to staff was spot on - so much so my partner an i originally went for 5 days and extended to 8!! Aitana, José, Merija and Fran were stand out staff members who were constantly attentive, welcoming, always helpful and truely made our holiday all the better. We will definitely be back - Laina & Ash (UK Couple, mid 30's)

Relaxed stay at the end of the season

Welcoming, warm and professional staff. Good quality buffet food for breakfast and dinner. It was quiet as it was end of the season. Would stay again.

Very good hotel

An intimate hotel a short distance from the beach and the sea. Close to the bus stop. Very good all-inclusive food and drinks. Quality suitable for the price.

Don’t expect the ladies at front desk to help you. They will find every reason possible not to. The hotel is wonderful otherwise. You’re better off finding another place to stay. These ladies lack any common courtesy. Recommendation for upper management, find someone with a little humanity for this position.

For 3 star hotel is very good, especially the food, the bar and the general cleaning. The reception wasnt warmfull, and the check out wasnt very warmfull again... But i recomend this hotel for a good relation between price and services. Its nearly some good beaches and the pool was Nice too. The finish time for dinner - 9 PM is to early. We must leave the beach too early...

Hotel for beach lovers

A smaller size hotel with very friendly staff. The room was just big enough for a cozy bed and I found it very practical that my luggage perfectly fit under the bed and not using any further space. The restaurant has many choices and was not crowded during my stay. Tasty food is 5-10 drive away but supermarket is just at the corner.

Nice hotel, food great!

Arrived at night to the hotel, was disappointed to have a room on the 1st floor and not overlooking the pool but it was nice enough. The room was quite small but the bathroom was very nice! We were very impressed by all the staff, very friendly and helpful. We were also very happy with the food! Great for a 3star hotel! The location was great, less than 10 minute walk to a lovely beach, lots of the usual shops and the bus stop. Entertainment was not bad, we especially loved Aqua zumba! We recommend! Only thing I would suggest needs to change are the pillows, long, thin and hard and very uncomfortable! Overall great hotel for the price but lay extra for the pool/lake view!

Friendly and welcoming

Staff were friendly and accomadating. We arrived late and there was a cold buffet available for us. The hotel was clean and bright. Food was great, lots of variety and chef cooking fresh food at all sittings. Within walking distance to shops and a beautiful beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return.

Lovely hotel with view of a small lake.

Very nice hotel with lovely staff and food. Mixed nationalities staying there. We were all inclusive and drink portions were generous in real glasses (unlike one we stayed in down the coast where it was all plastic glasses!). Nice big swimming pool and plenty of loungers and outside tables with nicely kept grounds. Our room faced the pool and lake. I think rooms facing the road and hotel opposite might have had a few issues as there always seemed to be quite loud outside entertainment going on. No real private parking as advertised and I think at busy periods parking on the one way road could be an issue. Only a short walk to the lovely well kept beach. Can not fault this hotel apart from the bed not being very comfortable but that is probably a personal preference. Only one pillow and that was like a brick!
