Parfait pour les vacances en famille ou une escapade romantique pour deux, cette cabane en rondins de cÚdre isolée est nichée dans une vallée pittoresque parmi trois hectares boisés sur les rives de la riviÚre Nottely, juste à l'extérieur de Murphy, en Caroline du Nord. Les Great Smoky Mountains entourent la région et offrent des vues spectaculaires, ainsi qu'une abondance d'activités de plein air.

Profitez de magnifiques couchers de soleil sur les montagnes depuis des chaises à bascule sur le porche enveloppant ou lisez prÚs de la magnifique cheminée en pierre de riviÚre. Alors que la soirée approche, dérivez au son des coups de fouet au loin et à la lueur des lucioles illuminant le ciel. Le matin, réveillez-vous avec la mélodie d'oies encerclant les lacs voisins.

Récemment rénovée, la cabine offre des salles familiales et salles à manger spacieuses voûtées, une mezzanine, quatre chambres et deux salles de bains, et est confortablement meublée. Le pont enveloppant offre une vue imprenable sur la cour spacieuse et la riviÚre.

We enjoyed the back porch as well as the big back yard. The dining room table is terrific. All eight of us could all sit down as a family and eat a meal together. There was room to have the food on the table. We did not use all of the table for meals so a work in progress puzzle could be kept on the table so anyone passing by could add a missing piece to the big picture. Or stay at the table and work on it. Plenty of room. For the most part the two bathrooms were enough but there were times a half bath would have been helpful and appreciated. The rooms worked out nicely for our many needs.

The cabin met our satisfaction, we enjoyed our stay. We had a few minor bloopers that I will be addressing the owner with, but we enjoyed the area, enjoyed watching the deer & really enjoyed the screened in back porch in the early morning while having our coffee. We will be going back.

Great Family Getaway

We rented this cabin for a couple nights for our family for Easter. We all had a blast. Despite being tucked away there was enough things within 10 minutes to make it a perfect location. They also had a cute antique flea market not far from the cabin that was a fun little adventure. We had 4 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs and we were not on top of eachother it eas the perfect size and the screened porch was a great space. We would definitely visit here again!

Beautiful home with a lot of land and river nearby.

We really enjoyed this home. It had a lot of space, great bunkbed for kids, and a beautiful large outdoor area. It was also nice to have a fenced in dogs run. It’s right near a river where the kids did lots of fishing. Beautiful area in Murphy NC

Great Stay

The cabin is large, comfortable and clean! Well appointed with everything you could possibly want, from cheese grater in the kitchen to the abundance of board and outdoor games. to plenty of rocking chairs on the porch- every detail has been thought of and provided. The yard is amazing for kids of all ages, and whatever outdoor games you could possibly think up. The owner was quick to reply to any questions or comments. All of that, plus a little group of deer that said hello each evening made this cabin worth all 5 stars!!

Peaceful refreshing

Beautiful cabin and beautiful location as all you need to have a peaceful refreshing vacation fishing in a river to enjoy any outside grounds and has all electronics and excellent cell service that you will need. Enjoy your stay if you want to stay connected to my two special-needs nephew, enjoy the electronics my sister, and I enjoy the surroundings and able to watch some TV Will stay again if and when the opportunity permits

Beautiful cabin

This cabin is fully equipped and ready to be enjoyed! It was very cold the week we were there. Trent went above and beyond on Christmas Eve to bring us an extra heater to be sure we had enough heat!!! Even brought us dessert! The cabin is in a beautiful area and so peaceful! The kitchen has everything needed to cook. There were lots of games for us to enjoy. Great location. Cabin is dog friendly so even our corgi had a great time! Thank you so much for your hospitality! Hope to be back for another stay!!!

Beautiful and Peaceful Getaway

We aren’t sure if we enjoyed the cabin and location more or if our pups did. What a beautiful and peaceful cabin. This cabin would be absolutely perfect for family get togethers and holidays. The large dining room table would be the perfect setting for a large family meal. We took advantage of the kitchen barstools for our meals. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We usually pack extra spices, cooking utensils as we travel and use VRBOs often. This cabin came equipped with everything we could think of down to the comfy recliners for a lazy day. Be on the look out every single night for the arrival of the cabin’s deer!! Like clock work they showed up at 6:40pm. The central location of the cabin and yet we still felt the peace and quiet of the mountains. Definitely a must return!! Thank you so much, Trent, for also contacting us about our charger!! We appreciate you and your cabin.

Murphy Family Vacation

We rented the cabin for a family get together. We were six adults and had plenty of room to spread out or sit together. The property is lovely and we enjoyed sitting out at the fire in the evenings. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. A couple of the beds were not great but didn’t impact on the enjoyment of our vacation. Trent was easy to communicate with and responded to our questions. We would recommend this property.

Enjoyed our stay

We booked this cabin for a family trip with our kids (9 and 2) and my parents. We loved the cabin it had a great layout and lots of supplies. The room upstairs was perfect for the kids. They had lots to do outside and the river behind the house was really nice. We saw deer come on the property often. The nearby lake was fun to fish in. We didnt really like it for swimming but the owner, trent, was super nice. He recommended a swimming hole about 8 minutes away. We went there multiple times it was beautiful. We would return just for that area to be honest. It was a great stay and id highly recommend it if you are traveling in the area.

Outdoor Paradise

We really enjoyed the huge yard and just sitting outside, or playing fetch with our two dogs. The river was interesting to watch, as it rose daily- water release and attracted geese and deer. It was fun to walk the small trails next to the property. The weather was cool and so relaxing. We didn't get to have a fire in the huge fire-pit due to high fire warnings, but that was fine. We loved that everything is just a short drive away. We would definitely come back.

Relaxing getaway

We had everything we needed for a family of four plus our dog. Great dinning room table for meals and games. Every room has a tv if you want to relax after hiking during the day. Great backyard with a fire pit, access to the river, and a dog run. Close to town to explore and food options. We had a great time.

Absolutely Wonderful

This cabin and property were perfect for our multi-family party of 7. Plenty of room to spread out but also comfortable when we were all together. Great location...within a short drive to many "tourist" activities and plenty of hiking and fishing closeby as well. We really enjoyed watching the deer each morning and evening. Our host, Trent, was fantastic as well.

A great place

This house was a perfect fit for our three family yearly vacation. Six adults and five kids under 11. Spacious enough for us all to spread out. And we loved the huge dining room table! The house sits in a good location to make day trips quick and easy. Rafting at Nantahala outdoor center is an hour away. Persimmon Creek Trout pond is 15 minutes away. We caught 13 pounds of trout for dinner. The owners are extremely nice and answered all of our questions. They were very entertaining as well. Bear creek mini golf and Gem mining was also fun for everyone. About 10 minutes down the road. Only one slight disappointment was the access to the Nottley river from the property. The banks were extremely steep and they release water from the lake daily. When that happens the water rises very quickly and makes it dangerous for children to be anywhere near it. Not a huge deal, the water was so cold the kids did not want to play in it anyway. The nearby lake was nice. Just a short walking distance down a trail. The kids were able to play in that along with kayak the entire length of the lake. The huge yard was wonderful. We spent a lot of time outside in the evening playing badminton and volleyball. The fire pit was nice also. And NO Mosquitoes!

Great place to relax!

Our family needed a get away to just relax and we were not disappointed. Beautiful house with everything you need in the kitchen. Loved the Blackstone flat top grill. Would stay here again.

Relax, Unwind and Recharge!

It was the getaway we were looking for to relax and unwind for a week. The yard is a wonderful place for bonfires, volleyball games, and relay races. There's some good trout fishing in the river and it's fun to watch it rise each day. The nearby lake is great for fishing too and also paddle boarding and kayaking . Oh, and the table... you just have to go to enjoy meals around the table! It's just a peaceful place! Trent is a great and very responsive host!

We took a deep breath...

~A well-thought out home with perfect amenities. ~Rocking chairs on a back porch from which to watch the doe and her fawn in the great, green field beside the river. ~Ringing laughter at the lake as the kids created crazy kayak races and swam or fished to their hearts content. ~Games, meals, singing, and a puzzle at the long family dining room table...we paused long at it and enjoyed each other. This was our week in Murphy, and it will always be remembered. 8 of our 9 kids were able to join us for at least part of the week, and it was a great time of reconnecting. Trent was amazing to work with and answered every question quickly and kindly. We cooked all but one meal there and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Everyone enjoyed the outdoors with water fun, volleyball, badminton, and lots of walks. When it rained, there was plenty to do inside as well and lots of space for us to spread out if needed. We were definitely recharged during our week there and would love to return.

Great stay at Trent's cabin

We stayed at the cabin for a week and had a great time. Cabin is located perfectly for a getaway fo the country. We all enjoyed bonfires and sports in the huge yard by the water and games and movies inside the cozy cabin in the evebings. Trent was a great host and his cabin is recommended highly!
