The property is in a wonderful location. I'm sure at one point, the inside of the house was lovely, but it's run down and needs attention (walls/baseboards are dirty, need paint, furniture and carpet need deep cleaning, some bathrooms need updating). The code that was given to us to enter the home didn't work when we got there. The issue was solved by the management and we later found out it was something to do with batteries not working in the lock. Also, one of the bedrooms did not have sheets - this was mentioned to the management company the first time we got hold of them, and they never offered to bring some (so I bought a blanket at target). There was a foldable mattress/bed in a closet that smelled like urine which made that closet unusable. We were there over New Years and so we had issues getting a response from the property manager. The pool was not heated (which we knew in advance) but that detracted from the experience (meanwhile, property next door had a heated pool and they seemed to be having a great time). They had a new hot tub which we were charged extra to use. It was a nice and very clean. The homeowner reduced the price because we decided to use it on the third day, but then it took another 24hrs for it to be warm enough to use (so basically, we paid for the time it took to warm it up and got 2 days use out of it). Overall, I was very disappointed with our stay because there were issues which weren't resolved. Expected more for the money.
