We had a great time. The house was clean, very important. Everything worked well except we a a little issue with the tub that they compensated us on. Thank you. The house was well equipped with pretty much everything we needed. The host was very accommodating. We hope to go back the same weekend next year with our family. We do this as a late Christmas every year and the family had a great time too.

Great getaway in a gorgeous community

The house was perfect for our special occasion (my wife’s 50th birthday), comfortably hosting us, 2 other couples, and a couple more family members.The back patio is large and furnished, making for a great hangout spot for chatting around a fire and playing cards at table.

Between having to clean up the yard and having to set up everything for the summer. Like, clean all the outside furniture. The grass and weeds were so out of control I couldn't let my kids play outside. The inside of the whole smelled musky, not clean and fresh like a rental should be. There was ONLY 2 rolls of toilet paper. One in eavh bathroom, which is fine for a night but not a whole week! I will NEVER use this company to rent from again.

Great location and plenty of room

This home was well equipped for a stay and there was plenty of room for multiple or large families. The house was clean on the inside but I don’t think it had been opened for the year yet and needed some cleaning outside. The host was an excellent communicator and I appreciated the ability to ask questions and update them as the stay progressed. We will definitely stay again when we go back to the area.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood

This home was a lovely place for my family to stay for our summer vacation! There was plenty of rooms for the 12 of us to sleep and to live for the week. The back patio was a nice relaxing place to sit in the mornings and afternoons and the living room provided enough seating for everyone to sit and watch TV when it rained. The only thing that we had to do when we got there was sweep the steps going down to the lake as they were covered in tree debris and creeping vines. Other than that the property was a beautiful place for family to gather!

Great weekend at the Lakeside Retreat

This property was great for our annual girls getaway. The house was immaculately clean with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was very prompt in responding to my emails. We appreciated the upscale linens, but definitely needed more towels. I would highly recommend this property.

Comfortable home

We stayed with 2 couples, one couple being older. The layout of the house was perfect. Beds were exactly how we like them. We opened the shades and had lake view our whole stay. The steps to the dock were a little too steep for half of us😀. Communication was the best we ever had. Location was central to everywhere we we wanted to go. ..Muskegan, Grand Rapids..Loved the neighborhood and all the squirrels. Very well stocked!! alldock were

Family Trip

Our family enjoyed our stay very much! Property was clean and welcoming. Beds and living space were comfortable and kitchen well stocked, even for our large group of 10 people. The kids loved playing in the spacious grass area of the yard. Property manager was great at communicating too. Wonderful trip for us!

Rodent droppings, ripped sheets, and more! GROSS

The house was filthy and not well kept. Rodent droppings in the kitchen, ripped sheets, mold/mildew in vents and musty smell, doors off hinges, greasy substance on floor, fall leaves piled up against the house with swarms of mosquitos breeding in it (making the backyard unusable)
.and the list goes on. Our family rented three houses for our Michigan stay and the others were top notch. Fortunately, we could vacate the house during the day and hang out at the other places. I wish I could post pictures in this review

Lakeside Retreat?

The house was as advertised, very nice and comfortable and spacious. The outdoors, not so much. Grass was tall, all outdoor furniture dirty, kayaks dirty and full of water. Limbs down on the roof and everywhere and gutters full. Deck not as accessible as picture shows. It was down a long staircase which was littered with branches and chairs from porches had been taken down there and we were not able to retrieve. The outdoors was a selling point for me and we weren’t able to use it at all! I expect properties to be as advertised, as that is why I am booking and what I expect to be paying for.

Perfect getaway

The home is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the lake. The spacious open floor plan made our family vacation comfortable and gave us the room to hang out together. We really enjoyed staying there.

Great house!

House was great! Open and modern floor plan, natural light, big couch and good seating, lots of pillows and blankets, well stocked with everything! Added enjoyment of bald eagles flying over the lake. Adam was responsive with communication. Rented this house for a soccer tournament in Feb (so didn’t really get to enjoy the lake or outdoor seating) and it was located right in the middle of the 3 field locations. Reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
