It's a very beautiful hotel, unfortunately for us, we happen to be there at a very child, busy weekend softball tournaments and runs and whatnot. The sunset view is bar nun one of my favorites with the marina in the foreground. It would have been nice if there were more information about the restaurant available in the rooms, it said there was room service but there were no menus or phone number.

This is a very dated property in a decent location. Staff was friendly, but system for checking in and buying items in the convenience corner is slow. Needs investment desperately. Could be great, but it just isn’t, as much as I want it to be.

Called ahead to ensure we could get a higher room with a view I had paid extra for, as I was taking my elderly mom on a last visit to Muskegon to go down memory lane.Was assigned probably the worst room they had on the second floor. No chairs to sit in, except a single dangerous office chair that should be removed as it throws you straight back, tipping over. I would have picked a different date if I had known I wasn’t going to be able to get my request. People stepped out the door below our room to smoke all night, the skunk smell of pot flowed into our room above and stayed. Worst experience I have ever had staying at a hotel and I have traveled for work for years.
