We didnât stay at this property due to some electrical problems. We were offered a stay at the Sharpe Mansion in Checotah for the first night. It was very clean and nice. We opted out of staying at the Three Rivers mansion for the second night. I am hoping for a refund, but have not yet received it.
Very surprised this unit has mostly 10 star reviews across the board. Honestly surprised this unit is allowed to be rented. Many rooms were blocked off due to severe damage. Roof was leaking with significantly large holes. There was mold growing on closet doors and underneath cabinets. Everyone has left with a cough. The fridge had nasty smell and food left in it from prior tenants. The listing said that there are 2 king size beds. This is not fully honest. Also it says there are six bathrooms. Yes there are but only 3 are operational. I would love to see this place cleaned properly, and repaired so that no one will get sick and have a guaranteed safe stay. We had no other options to leave as the event had everyone booked. This was a very unique experience and we may have enjoyed it if the place was in living conditions. There is a unique vibe from the house.
This home was very nice very well equipped kitchen lots of antiques and knick knacks to look at the house was very well equipped with towels linens and so on host was very friendly and easy to work with was an amazing stay nicely located from hat box
Home very clean. Good location. Extremely large home with numerous antiques and vintage decor. Stayed very cool throughout home on the hot days that we visited. Very well stocked with items needed to make stay enjoyable. Wonderful host with timely answers to all questions.
Property just as listed. If you love old, antiques and history, this is the place. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Communication with owner was great. Location was centrally located whether staying for Muskogee or traveling to surrounding towns.
This place was absolutely beautiful. It will take you days to see everything in the home. We had 4 adults and 3 children. Very spacious even with 20 plus people. Owner/manager was very nice and attentive. He kept in touch to let us know if we needed anything to let him know. Price was amazing! We will definitely be going back.
This was a very unique property. It had lots of cools antiques and memorabilia. We enjoyed it very much. The only incident to mention was that it was raining pretty hard during my stay and there were 3 places in the den and the downstairs bedroom where the roof was leaking. There was a blanket on the floor under the leak in the den at the time i checked. i did communicate about the leaks with the owner and everything was fine we just ignored it for the stay. Its just one of those things you can encounter with a very old house. Its a great property and well worth a visit. I'm glad i chose it.
This home with its rustic charm and antiques throughout dating back to the early1900s did not disappoint. The many fireplaces added to the already wonderful character of the house. We had 5 adults so we each had a room to ourselves with plenty of space to have the privacy we wanted. The beds were super comfortable! This stay did not disappoint.
Very old but beautiful home with lots of space. We had Thanksgiving dinner at this location and it was a very good experience. Owner was always available and attentive to our needs, great customer service.
Beautiful historic mansion in the heart of Muskogee. Interior is beautiful...like stepping back in time, but it has the electronic updates we need to function. It's a great place to stay!
