Liebenswürdige Gastgeber

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und haben uns mit einem Abendessen am Ankunftstag überrascht! Immer wieder haben Sie uns mit Obst und Gebäck verwöhnt. Die Villa war komplett ausgestattet und der Pool war sehr gepflegt. Herzlichen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub.

Moderne Villa mit großen Garten

Schöne moderne Villa mit liebevoll gepflegtem Garten und Poolbereich. Das Haus ist verkehrstechnisch gut gelegen inmitten von Olivenhainen. Die sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber haben uns bei Ankunft mit einem leckeren Essen empfangen und haben uns auch zwischenzeitlich mit Spezialitäten aus der Küche Kretas versorgt. Jederzeit war die Familie als Ansprechpartner erreichbar. Es war ein entspannter Urlaub und wir vermissen Kreta und seine Gastfreundlichkeit sehr und hoffen schnell wiederzukommen.

Sehr gastfreundlich!

Wir wurden durch die Familie sehr freundlich empfangen und zwischendurch auch mit landestypischen Leckereien und Obst und Gemüse verwöhnt. Alles auf Abstand entsprechend den Corona-Regeln, quasi ohne Risiko, da es auch keinen Kontakt zu Nachbarn gab. In dieser Zeit ein sehr sicheres Urlaubsquartier. In den beiden Ortschaften in der Nähe konnte man gut einkaufen und essen gehen und für die Sehenswürdigkeiten war die Lage in Nähe der Schnellstraße gut. Alles war sehr sauber, der Pool ein Genuss. WLAN nur unten im Wohnbereich, aber für uns ausreichend, da wir abschalten wollten. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Vielen Dank!

Unvergessliche Woche

Wir waren eine Woche in der Villa Irene und hatten einen wirklich tolle Zeit. Die Villa liegt etwas abseits, die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind aber in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Man hat dort seine Ruhe und für uns war die Lage perfekt. Mit unserem Mietauto konnten wir schnell überall hinfahren. Die Unterkunft ist schön eingerichtet und hat unsere Ansprüche vollsten erfüllt. Der hauseigene Pool war das Highlight. Die Gastgeber Eirini und ihre Eltern waren super nett, aufmerksam und unglaublich lieb. Bei Fragen konnten wir uns immer melden und haben rasch eine Antwort bekommen. Wir haben sogar mehrmals frische Feigen und Tomaten aus dem Vorgarten bekommen - richtig lieb. Wenn wir nicht in Corona Zeiten dort gewesen wären, hätten wir die Vermieter am liebsten einmal ganz doll geknuddelt, so herzlichen waren sie. Es war eine sehr tolle Woche und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke für alles! Auch an die Agentur, die uns im Vorfeld gut über die Einreisebestimmungen, das Haus und alles andere informiert hat. Hier hat einfach alles gepasst. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist das Internet, das wlan war leider nur in der ersten Etage gut. Das hat uns persönlich jedoch nicht gestört. Im Urlaub sollte man das Handy auch einfach mal ignorieren :-)

Wonderful domicile for a family

We stayed at the Villa in June and had a really great time. We were personally welcomed by our hosts even though we arrived at late night (thanks to Irene for her translating support via mobile call :-)). And in the kitchen there was a warm meal wating for us (very delicious indeed). You cannot imagine a warmer welcome even if you travel to your grandparents! The house is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The pool (1,4 m depth of water) is great (and already in june it was really warm). The airconditioning was working and the two bathrooms are helpful (particularly when travelling with teenage girls). At midterm of our stay house and pool have been cleaned up (and again some delicious goodies were waiting for us in the kitchen!). Shopping facilities and lovely beaches are within five minutes by car. For all german guests: Der nächste LIDL ist in 15 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar (kurz vor Rethymnon, einfach via Google Maps zu finden) und bietet den gewohnten Versorgungsstandard. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in den Nachbarortschaften sind doch eher sehr "landestypisch" ;-). To sum up: the object description is totally true and we can strongly recommend this villa particularly to families,

Nice holiday in a beautiful summer cottage

We chose this villa mainly because of the beautiful garden. And these pictures do not lie. We were absolutely not disappointed. We encountered a nice, clean house with a great garden. We also often used the pool, as it was (at least in August / September) the perfect temperature for swimming. The outdoor terrace is great for a meal together. The house has a well-equipped kitchen (even with electric orange press) and a perfectly set air conditioning system. On the balconies you can enjoy the evening in the twilight wonderfully. The area around the house was also very nice. With all the olive trees and isolated from the next town (still easy to reach). Particularly noteworthy, as in the reviews before, are the homeowners. Really a very loving family who does everything to make you enjoy your vacation. Whether the regular brought pastries / meals or the great helpfulness when we stupidly locked out of the house, the owners were always there for us. I can definitely recommend this villa. We really had a great time there and will definitely stop by again sometime.

Fantastic!

We stayed 12 days in villa Irene with our two children (6 and 9 years old). We arrived very late the first day and the owner welcomed us cordially and had even prepared dinner for us. The house is situated at a rural road, only a few minutes to Perama where you can get everything you need. It is a good starting point for nearby beaches and a lot of interesting spots. The house provides everything you need and we enjoyed a lot eating outside on the terrace. The beautiful garden with the pool was the highlight for our children. The owners cleaned the house and the pool regularly and brought us fresh towels. They gave us fresh fruits from their garden; their hospitality was really great. We can only recommend villa Irene, and we would give more than five stars if it were possible.

Séjour très agréable à la villa Irene la maison correspond en tous points à sa description ainsi qu’aux photos.Très propre et confortable.La maison est située en dehors de la ville donc plutôt calme, une voiture est conseillée pour accéder aux commodités proches.Les hôtes sont adorables et très prévenants et accueillants.Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons cette villa.

Fabulous villa in Crete

We had a wonderful family holiday at villa Irene for 10 days. Villa & pool was wonderful and very much as per the listing. Irene and her parents are so helpful and even arranged a birthday cake for my son who’s birthday was on our arrival day! Location is near to Panormos which is brilliant for tavernas, cocktails, shopping and small beaches/port - plus the best sunsets ever!! I highly recommend this villa for a holiday.

Wonderful villa

The villa is beautiful, especially the garden and pool area. Eirini is the perfect host, checking in with us to make sure everything was great and always responds immediately. Eirini’s parents are lovely and cleaned the pool and watered the plants every other day so it was spotless the whole time. The villa is in a good location close to Perama where there are plenty of supermarkets, a good restaurant and a bakers that does wonderful cakes. Panormo is also very close with the beach and lots of restaurants. Kastro was our favourite. Car hire is recommended as there’s so much to explore, the Arkadi monastery is definitely worth a visit as is ancient Eleutherma with the museum and burial site. There are also lovely villages with great places to eat such as Margrites and Melidoni caves and village. Also recommended a drive to Georgioupolis beach (towards Chania) if you want soft sand and clear seas with a little church you can walk out to. So much to do and see 2 weeks just wasn’t enough. Definitely recommend and hope to be back.

Accueil chaleureux et belle maison

Séjour fin octobre 2019. Le sens de l'accueil, le sourire et la gentillesse ne sont pas de vains mots pour les propriétaires. Très jolie villa, au design intérieur moderne et avec tout l'équipement pour 4 personnes. Idéalement située pour decouvrir toutes les cotes de la Crête. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

5/5 no hesitation. Owners and their daughter did everything possible to make our stay exceptional. They were extremely helpful yet not in any way intrusive. The villa is lovely and the outside space just perfect. Panormo town is delightful with lots of restaurants and traditional paved streets.

Lovely clean, good sized villa with a larger than average sized pool

The villa is in a good location, a few minutes drive from both Perama with supermarkets and restaurants and Panormos where there is a nice beach, shops and restaurants. The Villa Irene is a good size and lovely and clean with everything you need, with beautiful views of the mountains. The pool is a really good size for a family of four and and there is a lot of space around it with a lovely, well established garden. Even though the two villas are attached they are both very private and you wouldn’t know there was anybody next door to you. The family who own the villa are very welcoming and friendly, leaving us a lovely meal for when we arrived and bringing us other tasty Greek food and fruit throughout our two week stay. They had that fine balance of being very hospitable but not around all the time so we didn’t feel they encroached on our holiday at all. A lovely relaxing holiday.

We were very happy with our stay at this property. It is a very well thought out home with everything you could need. We travelled with our 18 mth old and the property was excellent in terms of everything we needed for looking after her. A cot and highchair were provided. The kitchen has all you need for cooking. We used the BBQ and usually ate in the outside dining area. You can have food delivered if you don't want to cook. We had a masseur come to the property too. The pool is great and cleaned almost every other day. It's a good size. The garden is excellent, beautiful plants and fresh tomatoes you can pick. Good lighting for sitting outside in the evening. The house was very clean and they came to clean part way through our stay. The bedrooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. There are fly screens on every door and window and good shutters proving blackout (great for the baby). The family that own the property are adorable. Very welcoming and lots of little touches like a teddy for the baby and a meal for us to eat on our first day. They give you privacy but are near and on hand if anything arises (we locked ourselves out one day). The surrounding area is great, we found a supermarket, bakery and butchers within 10 mins drive (south). The local beach was perfect for us, not crowded with choices for lunch. You can swim in the sea but it's also great for the little ones to wade in. The property is about 50 mins from the airport and 20 mins from rethymno although we didn't visit there. This is a great rental choice for families, couples or a group of friends who want a relaxing holiday.

Amazing stay in Crete

Just returned from 12 nights in an amazing villa in an amazing location. Local restaurants have amazing views and the food with superb service is great. The villa is well maintained and the hosts will bring you fresh fruit/vegetables and welcome you with home cooked food. The pool is ideal for a family and our kids loved having somewhere to cool off after being in the Sun. Really nice views wherever you sit around the villa - can not fault the location and villa. Thankyou for a great time.

Excellent Villa for the family - Had a great stay

We all loved our stay in Crete. The villa was perfect for our family. We were worried about the size of the pool before we arrived but we didn't need to. Our boys played for hours in the pool and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We also liked the space we had in the garden as they could run around and play football. The privacy was great. We loved the BBQ area, which was great and enjoyed picking the fresh herbs, tomatoes and peppers . The location is excellent as you are 3km from the beach (Panourmos is a lovely town) and 3km from Perama, which had everything we needed and had so many shops. The butchers near the Carrefour was particularly good. The owners of the Villa are so lovely and hospitable. They made us a traditional meal when we arrived, which was delicious, kept bringing us fresh food (tomatoes, figs, eggs) and made us lunch one day, which was so nice. They also introduced us to the local liqueur RAKI, which goes down very nicely. They really look after the pool and cleaned the Villa very well. Nothing was a problem for them. When we had an issue we contacted them and they sorted it really quickly and with a big smile. They were fantastic. The wifi in the property is very good too. If we are going to be very critical then we would say that the bathrooms are not very luxurious but this was not a major issue for us because they were spotlessly clean. We would very much recommend this villa

Wonderful!

My husband and I, and 2 children (aged 5 and 1) have just returned from an 8 day holiday at Villa Irene. The villa was plenty big enough for us, and the aircon was a huge plus, as the daytime temperatures got up to around 34 degrees on some days. There is not much shade at the pool, so the covered veranda was really handy for giving us all a break from the sun. The villa was very clean and well-equipped, and it was lovely to be able to pick our own cherry tomatoes, courgette flowers and herbs from the garden. The owners were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They very kindly made us lunch on the day we arrived, and kept bringing fresh eggs, tomatoes, little cheese filled pastries throughout the week. Amazing hospitality! Very little sound carries over from the villa next door, and you still feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Amazing views and peaceful in the perfect setting

We have just returned from 10 nights at this gorgeous villa. The owners are so warm and friendly, they are extremely accompandating and nothing was too much trouble. This villa is setting within beautiful olive groves and surrounded by mountains. Perfect for exploring the surrounding areas with beaches and supermarkets only a 5 minute drive away where you have free parking everywhere. I would recommend a visit to the local winery at the begining of your holiday, the wine is amazing. Bali has better beaches we thought, but days around your private pool are perfect. The BBQ is wonderful and you have everything you need to fully experience a relaxing, Cretan holiday. We will definitely be returning which is always a good sign. Thank you for the perfect holiday

Casa estupenda y dueños agradables y muy hospitalarios

Hemos pasado doce días en Creta, teniendo como base ésta estupenda casa, nueva, con jardín y con unas vistas maravillosas de olivares y montañas. Su ubicación es muy buena para hacer recorridos por la isla ya que está geográficamente en el centro, pero si solo quieres playas , las tienes a muy pocos minutos. La casa es cómoda y está bien dotada y estaba limpia.Se atiene a la descripción de su anuncio. Nosotros hemos pasado ratos muy agradables en su jardín y piscina a la vuelta de nuestros recorridos y excursiones. Es de agradecer enormemente el recibimiento y la hospitalidad de los dueños (Giorgios, Siivia y Dimitris), su amabilidad y los detalles que tuvieron (nos obsequiaron con cena varias veces) entre otras cosas.
