My stay was 11 days in the off season. The unit was very clean and welcoming. The only thing I noticed wrong was the seat of one of the dining room chairs was loose. I notified the host & got an immediate response! She was very attentive and checked to see if everything was ok periodically but not excessively. The view was good for the location. It was off season so a lot of the shops were closed along with the hotel restaurant. But very peaceful no problems at all. I would stay again!
Place was very easy to find. Staff was very helpful. Julie was easy to communicate with and got back to me quickly. Beautiful view of the ocean from out balcony
Dishes, pots & pans was dirty, had problems with getting things fix. Host talk to me first day and could not get a hold of her after that. Had lights not working and short in one lamp.
We stayed in 2nd floor unit, it is pretty worn down. Paint is chipping all over. I have never seen microwave chip before. Baseboards are nasty dirty. Things are rusty. Bathrooms are very tight, dont even have towel hanging hook. Location is good easy access to beach and pool.
Property was nice and what was advertised. Really only slept in unit as we were busy all day. Building is in older part of town and business next door had tenants that were somewhat disruptive at night (no one's fault). Queen bed was uncomfortable for two people as you both rolled to the middle and additional blankets would have been great to have. Overall great place for the money spent.
The Palace is oceanfront. Nice pools, bar and grill, hot tub and sauna. Large condo.
Very clean. Very nice kitchen and fully stocked. Granite counter tops. Nice tile floor throughout condo. Very comfortable beds. Big Fish rental agency very responsive.
This was the quintessential just because it looks good doesn't mean its good. NEVER EVER BOOK OR STAY HERE THEY HAVE ROACHES DEAD ROACHES AND DO NOT CLEAN THEIR ROOM ITS VILE!STAY HERE
UPON CHECKING IN AT DOOR OF ROOM, THE CODE WAS INACCURATE. IT WAS LATE AND I WAS TIRED AND THIS WAS EXTREMELY IRRATATING. THE CODE INCLUDED THE POUND SIGN #, BUT NO SUCH # ON KEY PAD. I FOUND FOOD UNDER COUCH. BED SIZE INCORRECT AND I NEEDED ANOTHER BLANKET.
Well donât know where to start, first of all we booked our stay through VRBO and all was fine then the day of arriving at the condo they charged us a security deposit that we were not made aware of at all, so we dealt with that. Then we were told we had 1 hr to report any damages or issues within the condo otherwise we would be held accountable, so we walk in to a condo full of roaches everywhere!!! Then we did our walk through and took over 50 photos of issues and damages, including blood stains in the bathrooms in my kids room and our bedroom which was disgusting. Meanwhile we reported all of this and absolutely nothing was done about it through our stay. We drove over 10hrs for our family vacation and we were offered nothing for any of these issues, and we didnât have the means to go anywhere else. So we just had to deal with it. Do not stay here Also couldnât get anyone on the phone to help us either. I could go on but you get the point.
Upon arrival to the residence first I could not get into the room for about 30 minutes because I did not have the code. I was told that they needed additional documentation or identification and I had sent it two days prior. Upon entering the room I noticed a lot of bugs crawling around in the kitchen. They were in the drawer with the silverware, in the cabinet with the plates and the cups, and in the dishwasher. The dishwasher was nasty and so was the refrigerator. I wiped out the refrigerator and I used the dishwasher that night to try to clean some dishes so if we needed to use them. I sent pictures and I contacted the company through text message. They Converse back and forth in the next day they did send housekeeping out to clean. But it was a horrible experience because the longer we stayed the more buds we saw crawling around. They were in the bathroom behind the toilet, as well as in the toilet in the bigger room. I asked if there were a different accommodation that we can go to and they did not have another place for us to go to so we ended up staying the week. We checked out today and I made sure everything was tidy and put back as they requested. I was not satisfied also because one of the twin beds was broken completely off the wall and the couch in the living room was broken as well. I do have pictures to document everything if needed
We checked in on Friday and after check in my daughter said she saw bugs, I blew it off. The next morning, I noticed more bugs, on the floor, on the counter, and even one crawling on me... THEY WERE ROACHES! I immediately called Big Fish Rentals and they didn't answer the first 3 times but by the 4th someone answered. I expressed my concerns they said they would send someone to fumigate all the while attempting to make a bottle for my youngest when I noticed another roach IN her bottle!!!! We left within the hour. We immediately reached out via text because that is the only way they communicate told them we were leaving immediately. My husband and I posted multiple reviews as well as contact BBB. This was the worst experience my family and I have ever had.
