We had a wonderful stay. Property was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast delivery was an added bonus! Staff was friendly and very informative (guided us to the beautiful nearby St. Edmunds Retreat/church that is located on the water). A short trip to lovely Stonington and the Velvet Mill were also great excursions. We will be back!

Had a great experience. Room is warm and comfortable. Plenty of space. Bathroom felt like home. Pool was warm and comfortable. The entire property is very clean.

This was a great place to stay. Very cute/nice, clean and perfect location. It was rainy when we went so the pool seemed warm, it was still chilly. There was a lack of counter space in the bathroom and no microwave or refrigerator in the room. I should have paid more attention to that. The family upstairs was very loud through the floor.

When we first walked in the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Our room was very clean. The indoor pool is by far the nicest indoor pool that we've ever seen. I also shouldn't forget the coffee, pastries, and fruit in the morning were incredible

I had an incredible stay! The property was exceptionally clean and quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location is ideal, close to everything you might need, yet still feels peaceful and private. The staff went above and beyond, always helpful and welcoming. I have to highlight the pool—hands down the cleanest I’ve ever seen, and with plenty of space to enjoy. Everything about this stay was comfortable, convenient, and well cared for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an stress-free, enjoyable experience!

The Taber Inn stressed that their rooms are sound proof. It is listed under every picture they post on Expedia. However, it certainly is NOT. I heard conversations of the people above me and next to me. Also, housekeeping was vacuuming the hallway at 9:00 am and woke us up. Also, they must not vacuum the actual rooms before new guests arrive because there were random long grey hairs on the carpet and I don’t have grey hair. Gross.

Location was good so we could walk around the drawbridge part of Mystic but also have an easy time and and out with less traffic. Drive to the aquarium was just a couple of minutes. Motel itself is fine. It was nothing fancy but it was a top notch 3-star hotel.

Wonderful stay

I had the most amazing 3 night stay and would recommend to anyone visiting. The room was wonderful and pool facilities/jacuzzi were amazing. The staff were lovely and really attentive.
