We had an excellent stay over Thanksgiving. As described, the house included plenty of amenities (coffee, detergent, paper towels, etc) and kitchen items, which made it really convenient to arrive with just the our necessities.Plenty of fun things to do for all ages - pool table, arcade game, hot tub, etc. Everyone from age 6 through grandparents had fun. It is also a convenient location. Very short walk to the beach, with close grocery stores, and close to other fun attractions. We spent a nice afternoon at Jockey Ridge State Park, and when it was too cold to have fun outside, we had fun trips to the aquarium, and a bowling alley a short drive away.We would love to come back and stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay with every luxury you can think of. Bar, game room, pool, hot tub, jetted bathroom tub in master. Clean, and had more than we could ever need and left wanting for nothing while there. This place was a perfect place to allow all to get together yet still have a place to be by yourself. Getting together with family is very important and this was all I hoped it would be. Fabulous vacation home

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of this home. It was wonderfully equipped, with delightful amenities (k cups, candy!) and very convenient to the beach, stores and shopping. Having the bikes right there, the grill, and the pool made it a complete oasis! I've stayed in many VRBO's and this was one of the best. It handled the amount of people it said it could very well.

Beautiful House

We really enjoyed our stay here. Unfortunately, it rained during the majority of our trip, but we still had a great time. The house has plenty of amenities and supplies, and we were very comfortable here. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was definitely one of the nicest rentals I’ve stayed in. Anna was a very friendly and responsive host.

Great Introduction to the Outer Banks

Anna’s Sundog rental was the perfect place for our family get-together and first trip to the Outer Banks. She provided more than we could have asked for and was available for any questions I had along the way. Being on the Sound-side, friends who are very familiar with the area were concerned about access to the ocean, but the light located a block over made the crossing doable, even with a flock of children. Anna suggested a golf cart rental place and that for sure helped get things to and from the beach, but wasn’t absolutely necessary. It really was a great location and we all enjoyed our stay. We hope to stay there for many summers to come!

Great house, close to the beach,pool and hot tub. Very clean and amenities were nice and unexpected.

Coffee service and snacks were top notch. It was great to have everything we needed in the kitchen. Our family loves to cook and entertain so it was nice to have everything we needed on hand. Bonus game room with bar and fridge so we had easy access to drinks/ice while in the pool or jacuzzi. The games and toys both in the living room and in the game room and the pool area were great especially chess table and connect 4 and pool table. We would definitely go back to this house again. The host, Anna was great and very helpful when I had questions. The only negative was that we wanted the pool heated since it was pretty cool outside but you have to give 3 days advance notice in order for it to heat the water in time for your visit. We are from the Deep South and aren’t used to swimming in 70* water.

Nags Head Haven

Anna’s house is perfect. It has everything one needs when spending time at the beach. In addition, the house is fully furnished with great appliances and kitchen equipment, so home chefs can whip up any meals needed after a day in the sun. I’d 100% stay at this house again and would strongly recommend this location to anyone looking for a trip to the OBX.

Relaxing At The Shore

Nice quiet neighborhood with good proximity to beach. Pool and spa were enjoyed by all. Amenities were plentiful and worked as advertised. Host answered all of our inquiries promptly! We would stay there again!

Packed with amenities, incredibly clean

This is a great house in a great location! It had more amenities than any other place I've stayed. We didn't find any area that was unclean, and the owner was easy to communicate with. One thing to note is that the kitchen is on the third floor, which gives a great view for mealtimes and hanging out, but could be a problem for anyone who cannot climb stairs. The owner sent us a detailed floor plan, so it did not come as a surprise, but in case someone misses it in the house description, I thought I would point it out here. We had a great vacation and would heartily recommend this house!

Relaxing and fun Nag's Head vacation

The house is beautiful, with everything visitors could want. We loved the third floor living space, with sunrise and sunset views, and decks on both sides to enjoy them from. It's a perfect location in Nag's Head, close to the beach, the sound, stores and restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day as well. Anna is an excellent and communicative property manager!

Outer Banks Getaway

Every day was an adventure starting with the horse safari, hiking the dunes, fishing pier, all the way down to the Hatteras lighthouse. Stopping alot to photograph birds, sand and sea. A great time was had by all.

Relaxing stay

This house was exactly what we needed. We were two families doings road trip together with 5 kids (small-teenagers). When we landed at the house we all were happy with the size and the ability to be spread out but still feel cozy and comfortable! The pool and hot tub was relaxing to have and hangout in! The access to the beach (and private beach) were so easy to get to by car or bike! Oh, which having access to on site bicycles and beach supplies made things so much more at ease for the families!!! The house was relaxing at night because you could pick any deck to sit out on and enjoy the sun set or stargazing! If you are a large family or a group looking for a place in OBX this is it! The house is also centrally located on OBX so it gives you the easy option to explore southern part or northern part. We were a family of 4 and 5 and everyone enjoyed their stay! Anna was very resourceful and a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommend this house!!!

This property is in a great location and the layout is perfect for a large family or 2 families. It was very clean and so well stocked. Everything is close by so there is an endless list of fun things to do. Lots of games stocked in the house as well as hot tub/pool and pool table. Will hopefully be renting again!

Amazing property!

Well first, the homeowners were excellent at communicating. I was never worried about reaching out if there was a problem. The home is beautiful and well maintained. So many small details and the house had everything we needed! The house is a great location and we were able to walk to the beach and a short drive to so many restaurants, stores, and activities. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Location for Family Weekend

We had an excellent time at Sundog House! The gift basket at check in was a welcome touch and the additional amenities like beach gear, towels, aromatherapy items and more allowed us to relax and connect rather than worry about bringing all kinds of stuff with us from home.
