The pictures they show on Expedia for the rooms are false advertisement. They’re the most unappealing, inhospitable, dingy rooms you can imagine. And they all stink. There’s a no smoking sign inside the room, but it definitely reeked of cigarettes. Oh and there’s a dead cockroach on the floor of my bathroom when we first walked in. Parking is also god awful.

It'll do, but the windows don't lock shut

It'll do and right on the beach. The windows needs to actually have locks though. My room, 112, did not have lockable bathroom/bedroom windows and it's on the ground floor. Despite the windows being in the locked position they were still easily able to be slid open.

Loved our stay here but there were a few problems. Our power went out at least 3 times a day. Once it went out while we were in bed and everything in the freezer thawed so we lost our groceries we had just purchased and the oven did not work. The kitchen is a little outdated. The place is very clean and kind of charming. We plan on booking again for next summer. You can’t beat the price considering it’s right on the beach.

The location is great, right next to the Nags Head Pier, and close walking distance to local dining spots. Being right on the beach was a great plus. The rooms are clean and they have plenty of room. However, the beds weren’t the best, and I had an achy back most of the trip because of it. The A/C was working great, but was very loud. Overall, it’s a great value spot, and the location is perfect. Maybe bring a mattress pad if they haven’t swapped out the beds. Never used the pool as we stayed on the beach our whole stay, but it looked clean and nice.

TV stopped working day 5. and toilet broke and had to fix ourselves. No one in office to help. Needed toilet paper. Had to buy. Not bad overall. Just needs people working more rather than kiosk
