This hotel was a godsend for us in a city where we felt unsafe. This hotel had comfortable beds, good showers and toiletries and helpful staff. The food was great considering we didnât want to go out on the unsafe streets of Nairobi. Itâs a bit sad that the beautiful forests and animal habitats require passing through dangerous human city habitats, but thatâs whatâs needed to tick off that safari from your bucket list.
There was no hot water running, staff explained only after i complained. The bathroom drainage kept overflowing, couldn't stand and shower without stepping in the overflowing water, not hygienic, the smell too not good. Reported severely nothing was done.
We stayed here for one night before our safari and one day after. The rooms are small, but extremely clean, comfortable and the showers are great. Having endured a bit of discomfort in hotels during the safari, this place felt like home comforts and the staff were also courteous and professional. The restaurant has some very nice food and the breakfast is also tasty. The area has a bad reputation as 'unsafe', so be careful if you are venturing out, but if you need to unwind and relax without going out, this place is awesome.
