Wir haben einen tollen Platz am Sproat Lake, Vancouver Island. Wir buchen (von der Woche) Sonntag bis Sonntag. Check-in ist 4:00 Uhr. m. und check-out ist 12:00 p. m.

Unser Platz ist am Taylor Arm von Sproat Lake (wenn Sie jemals in Tofino, Long Beach waren, sehen Sie diesen Arm von der Autobahn). Es ist ein wunderschöner See, klar und sauber. SpektakulÀre Landschaft.

Ich bin auf dem GrundstĂŒck, wenn wir GĂ€ste haben. Ich habe 5 große Babys und sie verbringen einige Zeit mit mir wĂ€hrend des Sommers.

Es hat zwei Schlafzimmer, jedes hat ein Queen-Size-Bett und eine Reihe von Einzel Kojen. Es gibt eine Doppelmatratze, die im Wohnzimmer fĂŒr zusĂ€tzlichen Schlaf auf den Boden gestellt werden kann. Die KĂŒche ist komplett ausgestattet mit GeschirrspĂŒler, Mikrowelle etc. Das Wohnzimmer hat einen Fernseher / Videorecorder / DVD. Hoch Geschwindigkeits Internet . Das Badezimmer hat eine Badewanne / Dusche-Kombination. BadetĂŒcher und BettwĂ€sche können geliefert werden, aber Sie mĂŒssen auf dem Weg nach draußen waschen. Ich habe eine WaschkĂŒche mit 2 Waschmaschinen und Trocknern zur VerfĂŒgung. Bringen Sie Ihre eigenen StrandtĂŒcher mit. Es ist ein Propan Grill verfĂŒgbar fĂŒr Ihren Gebrauch. Am Wasser gibt es eine große Anlegestelle mit eingelassenen Treppen, Schattenmarkise, StĂŒhlen, sowie eine Feuerstelle, die benutzt werden kann, wenn es kein FIRE BAN gibt. Wenn Sie ein Boot mitbringen, ist Platz zum Andocken. Die Kosten betragen 2200 $. 00 kanadische / Woche basierend auf einer Familie von 4 mit einer GebĂŒhr von $ 25 / jede weitere Person / Nacht.

Great spot on the lake

Beautiful place. Fairly large 2 bedroom unit with a full kitchen but the best part was the lake. There were also kayaks and SUPs to use.

We had an amazing stay at Kim’s place. Kim met us when we arrived and showed us around. The suite is fully stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The laundry facilities were excellent. We spent most of our days down on the dock - our kids loved playing with Kim’s lovely grandkids. They were so sweet! We absolutely plan on staying here again. A little slice of paradise for sure!

Best view you can have on Vancouver island, it’s even better then the pictures. Our little kids loved the water and the outdoor space. The house was big and comfortable and have everything you need. Kim was very helpful and nice for us and the kids

Sproat Lake is amazing

Great location with a nice dock on an excellent part of the lake. The kitchen in particular had everything that we needed, though the beds were a size smaller than advertised (doubles vs queen) which may or may not matter to you. Our kids enjoyed having other kids around. There are a lot of people and activity on this property at all times, esp in summer.

Great vacation

We found the apartment spacious enough for the 7 of us. Lots of place to hang wet towels and swimsuits. The kitchen has everything your heart can desire. The lake wasn't too busy and the water is very swimmable. We had our own SUP, but because we could use the Lyle's SUP's and kayaks, we all could go out on the water together, which was fabulous. My youngest kept on saying this was his best vacation ever.

Sproat Lake Paradise

This property exceeded all expectations! We knew we would enjoy the week but wow! Kim greeted us upon arrival and showed us around our HUGE apartment. Our group included my husband and I, our son, his partner and our granddaughter. I almost forgot our huge dog. All of us felt at home right away. Anything you needed was there and if not, Kim produced it. Beautiful lake, swimming wonderful

Great week at Sproat Lake!

The photos do not do this place justice. It’s a big apartment on the top floor of the house with private entrance. Large kitchen, bathroom and living space with a private deck. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed borrowing the kayaks and paddle boards and many toys on the dock. My kids loved the diving board and water mat. I washed the sheets and towels we used easily with 2 washers and 2 dryers on site. Kim was a kind and helpful host. Hope to be back again next summer.

FABULOUS!!

We had a fabulous time at Kim’s Sproat Lake property!! Everything was exactly as listed and described. Even better!! The upper suite is fairly large and comfortable. It suited me and family very well. The lake is lovely. The dock is massive! Kim has tons of water toys, our teens loved the kayaks!! They used them everyday. They discovered a rope swing directly across the lake from Kim’s place. They loved it!! Several lounge chairs and side tables on the dock. We got to meet Kim’s grand kids a few times during our stay, they were all so adorable, and so very polite! We loved every minute of our vacation and hope to come back again next year!! Thanks Kim!!

Good spot for lake vacation

Kim was a great host, good at communicating and easy to get a hold of. The listing is very accurate, you are on the property and she is there with family members. Wasn't an issue, everyone was friendly and accommodating. It's a bit of hike to water, so not good for those with mobility issue - not a problem for us either. Swimming area and dock were great. Not too far from town if weather turns or need supplies. Thank you to Kim for a pleasant week.

Sproat Lake Paradise!

My family LOVED Kim's Sproat Lake property and have already made plans to return next summer. This upstairs apartment was extremely clean and very well stocked. It had everything you would ever need to make yourself at home for a week (or more!) It is nestled up in the trees and kept very cool during some very hot days. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook and even bake if you wanted. Though there is only one bathroom it is extremely large and handled our group (some days up to 7) perfectly. It is a bit rustic but it is impeccably maintained and honestly it just emphasized the fact we were on holiday. There is a large dock where we kept our boat for the full two weeks. We also had use of a variety of water toys including kayaks, paddleboards and various floaties. Kim's grandchildren stay with her during the summer and we would somedays share the dock with her and the kids for a bit. There was plenty of room for all of us and our guests. I must say, they are great kids and we enjoyed our interactions with them. Kim has obviously put a lot of thought into her vacation rental and it shows. She is also a great communicator. We honestly can't wait to get back to that gorgeous, clear, warm lake again next summer.

Significantly misrepresented... you are sharing your vacation with the owner!!

Overall, this is a nice high bank property (set back from the water), great dock with a boat slip and comfortable 2 bedroom suite that is pet friendly. There are multiple dwellings on the property (pictures are misleading). What the ad and the owner don’t tell you is that you are sharing the house and vacation week with the owner, her grandchildren ( ages 3-6) , her adult son, his male friend and another 4 yr old who happened to be visiting. The owner lives in the ground level suite of the house. The rental is upstairs. There is a steep walkway and driveway (owner and family drive a quad up and down multiple times per day) to the beach and dock. We were extremely disappointed in this VRBO experience and perhaps it was bad timing as our week lined up with the owner having 6 additional guests, including 3 very loud young grandchildren, which does not meet the PHO order for Covid 19 rental restriction. The owner did not seem to understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and should not be exposing her guests to others. We had no idea from the ad that this was going to be a shared holiday, shared dock,etc. We had next to no privacy. The owner and her extended family would make their way down to the dock most days by 11am and leave between 5-7pm. It was very uncomfortable and confusing, especially for my teenage children. We spent a lot of time on our boat!! We have been coming to Sproat Lake for 12 years and have never had a bad experience. We definitely won’t be back to this property and would warn you to read the fine print! Other minor annoyances included not having a bbq on the deck off of the kitchen. It is down the stairs at the next building.

Kim’s place is PHENOMENAL! We would absolutely stay here again!

Kim’s place is PHENOMENAL! We would absolutely stay here again! My husband and I stayed along with my sister and brother in law with four kids between us (two 3 month olds, 2 year old and an almost 4 year old) and our dogs. It’s a very kid and pup friendly place. Kim has been doing this for years and it shows, the accommodation was super clean and well thought out - she has everything you’ll need and it’s organized perfectly. The dock was beyond expectation and we spent every moment we could out there. We had a couple of rainy days and drove out to Ucluelet for one of them - a beautiful drive! There’s a place to dock your own boat and lots of different water toys for the kids to play with. I really can’t say anything bad about this place and I wish I was still there!

Beautiful setting

This is our 5th stay here. Wonderful quiet neighborhood on the water. Kim is a gracious host. The water access with the dock is quite lovely and very accessible. The cottage accommodations have everything you need. Very well stocked kitchen. Everything you need for baking. Very thoughtful to have spices, pepper grinder and sea salt grinder.

Great Lake Front property

My family of 4 stayed with another family of 4 for a week and had an amazing time boating and swimming. Kim has her grandchildren visiting and we saw them a little bit on and off during the day. My son enjoyed playing with her grandson. The place is well equipped in terms of kitchen/bbq/bedding/pool noodles/deck lounge chairs. There are some nice trails to explore just across the road too.

Magical Vacation on Sprout Lake

This is our fifth time staying at this property and it keeps getting better and better each time. The setting is magical and creates a poetic undertone for one’s soul of peace, tranquility and renewal. Kim, the owner, is so gracious and kind and makes you feel like an extended member of her family. So wonderful. If you’re looking to enjoy a getaway on Sprout Lake that will etch in your mind as one of the best vacations ever, than booking at this property is for you.
