Room was amazing and so is location. Had the best time at a great hotel. Got a coffee from the coffee/ wine bar in the lobby which was fantastic along with two breakfast sandwiches which were also so tasty.

Caption by Hyatt charges $60 a night to Valet park your car but will not tell you that they are parking your car in an unsecure public lot. Our car got broken into because we were told by the Valet Manager that their “security” was not watching the lot. We had to pay for all repairs and waste half a day of our trip getting our cars broken window replaced. The valet manager at Caption by Hyatt was rude and made us feel like we inconvenienced her morning because our car got broken into when we trusted they had someone watching over the cars- they did not tell us we were being parked in a public lot and we were told by the hotel employee all cars were parked in a parking garage. Also, the manager of Caption by Hyatt was no help and didn’t once apologize and continued to say they were a contracted company, taking no accountability even though we were staying at their hotel and trusted that they had secure parking. They were not forthcoming with any information, and handled the situation horribly. Due to the major valet parking security issues and the hotels lack of professionalism on how to properly deal with these situations, I will not be staying at a Caption by Hyatt again.

We loved our stay at Caption. It is close enough in proximity to dining and shopping but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the downtown Nashville scene. The property is well-appointed and modern with a great bar/lounge area. Totally recommend!

I highly recommend this hotel. It is exceptionally beautiful, and the staff members are remarkably friendly. The hotel evokes the charm of the establishment featured in "Gilmore Girls," with the receptionist bearing a resemblance to the character Mitch. Friendly staff with great customer service!

Super Great experience here at the Caption by Hyatt downtown Nashville! Perfect location, easy check in process, super friendly staff who went ABOVE and BEYOND for me, even after my stay was over! First, I ended up having to spend an extra night and the hotel made it easy and worry free allowing me to stay in the same room! Also I found out shortly after leaving my trip I forgot my wallet in the room! Staff went above and beyond to contact me and help set up a way to get it back to me since I was visiting from out of state! Can’t wait to come visit again! Also shout out to the valet team!
