Massive house, really enjoyed the trip, had all the facilities we needed and more, and the host was prepared and reachable the entire trip. Would recommend, would stay here again!
The house was well appointed, was clean with plenty of space and had everything we needed for a relaxing Thanksgiving week with friends. The kids loved running around in the yard, the house was close enough to downtown to be an easy drive in but far enough away to be quiet and relax, while still close to grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again!
We loved this huge house with old charm. Very large property was very peaceful in a city that is booming with excitement. We were literally 15 minutes away from anything we wanted to do (A geographical oddity...lol). I would recommend this house for large families or anyone who wants peace and quiet after a full day of everything Nashville has to offer.
The good: The house was pretty and sat off main road for privacy good. The house was very spacious and had plenty of parking. The property was so very pretty. The firepit area was very nice but it was too cold out to enjoy. The house has a ton of charm. The not so good: Hot tub did not work and it was a big reason why we chose this house. My friends were told at checkin that it is old and may not get warm. My friends were let in, given tour and given door code before I even arrived. I found this odd. The master bed broke while we were sleeping on it and it clearly had been improperly fixed prior. I messaged owner but never heard back about the bed or hot tub. The setup was great but the kitchen stays freezing. I like chilly spaces but this was just cold. Overall, it has great charm and location. Just needs a little attention and if you are going to advertise certain features please make sure they work.
The house was beautiful and great for 2 or 3 families vacationing together or a 1 large family that wants to stay close to Nashville without being right in downtown. We booked through VRBO and there were only a few pictures of the outside but no pictures of the inside of the house. There was a description of the bedrooms so we took a chance without having any photos. It looks like there are plenty of photos on the VRBO sight now though. The description makes it sound like there are 4 bedrooms but there are actually 5 bedrooms (in my opinion). There are 3 bedrooms upstairs. The first has a queen bed and a big full bathroom with a separate vanity room. The bathroom is Jack and Jill style that is shared with the 2nd bedroom which has twin bunk beds and 2 other twin beds in it (4 total twin beds). The 3rd bedroom upstairs has a king bed and a full bathroom too. There is a full bathroom on the main floor that is not connected to any bedrooms. There are 2 Bedrooms on the main floor, both with queen beds. There is a hot tub and a fire pit and grill. The front porch has 4 rocking chairs there were great for drinking afternoon coffee on. Finally, there is a basement that we did not use but has a sitting room or living room, a bathroom and the washer and drier. Great historic looking house!
