3 couples for my birthday, weâve been to Leipers Fork many times & brought our friends to have a fun weekend. Great house, great fire pit area! Highly recommend.
This was our second stay at this property. As the first time, we very much enjoyed this peaceful setting. Accessing the area: we found visiting Franklin for food, shopping, etc., comfortable, and heading into various parts of Nashville relatively painless. It's very close to Leiper's Fork. The house was clean (although this time the lamps could use a little extra spring cleaning, got some dusty webs going on), mattresses comfortable. We don't know how often other people need this particular feedback, but we appreciated the lack of air fresheners - we have a member of our party negatively affected by them. Absolutely hope to return again for another girls' weekend away.
At first glance its a nice place, but they really missed the final touches. No mention of the road being so close. We had small children who love playing with balls. But the road was to close and the yard is a slope to the road, so that stopped that. The locals fly up and down that road. The yard could have been mowed it would have looked better, there was dust leaves and debris on the porch. Could have been blown off and the flower pots nĂšed some attention for that visual attention to be nice. The pea gravel driveway on one end needs attention. To much pea gravel. We had 2 cars struggle to get over it to park, due to sinking. The inside of the home is cute and functional for family gatherings. We spent alot of time inside and it never felt crowded. The attention to details was missed inside too. There are dead bugs in the light fixtures. One wall in the bathroom was only painted part of the way down. Mold on the glass shower door hinges. The banister going up the stairs is loose. Definitely not load bearing for a person who might need it. Upstairs in the bedroom by the bathroom the wall is cracking at the corner of door frame. There are cracks in the bathroom wass as well. May be a structural issue. The paint in the staircase was a touch up job that was not eye appealing. Could be a nice place with some professional work accomplished. Felt like a 3 star hotel but paying a 5 star rate.
What an incredible place to stay for my sons HS graduation from Ravenwood. Close enough to Brentwood & Franklin but casually secluded just outside Leipers Fork.
This house is great and more importantly the host is excellent and responds quickly. This house is just outside Leiperâs Fork, about a 5 -7 min drive. Itâs about 15-20 min into Franklin proper to a bigger grocery store and additional resturants and shops. We had the opportunity to walk around Leipers Fork, but did not have a chance to eat at the 2 restaurants/bar. However, they were absolutely busy everyday they were open. The house has an open concept living room/kitchen/dining room. A good size bedroom with a bath on the first floor and two huge bedrooms upstairs with a large bathroom they share. We had a great stay and pretty good weather with the exception of severe storms one night. The host was excellent about responding to my question and offered to let me know if the storms got really bad for where we were. Cell phone service in general is available, but at the house use of the internet to receive phone calls is a must.
We were in town for a competition in Franklin and Over Yonder was the perfect place to escape from the chaos. Itâs quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfortable. They had everything we needed. Check-in and checkout was flawless. We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area again.
Roomy, comfortable rental. Close to events and sites we wanted to enjoy. Met the fairly simply needs we had, including accessibility for one member of our party. There are steps up to the porch, but from there the first floor bedroom, bathroom, living area and porches were easily accessible.
Clean, convenient, spacious. We enjoyed the fire pit area and the peaceful outdoor space. Close enough to downtown Franklin and to Nashville to enjoy both locations, while getting to come back to this home and stay away from the hustle and bustle. Great host!
We LOVED staying at Over Yonder! Rocking on the front porch while listening to the creek flow was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. Everything was spotless and offered everything we needed. Communication with Peggy was easy and timely. We are already look at dates to rebook. Definitely recommend staying at Over Yonder! 10/10!
This cozy place has such a homey feel!
We absolutely loved everything about our stay!
The host have taken such care with every little detail to make this the perfect spot.
Beautifully decorated, all the amenities anyone could possibly need! Beds are comfy, bathrooms are great with walk in showers and an amazing tub!Hopefully we will be able to book our next stay so we can make use of the beautiful porch and firepit area.
My daughter had to stay in Nashville for Thanksgiving. She had to perform at Christmas at Belmont(should go see). She suggested we come to the area for Thanksgiving. I wanted to have a quiet and relaxing space for our family to hang out. It turned into family friends and sibling family that joined us on Thanksgiving day at the last minute. The house was close to grocery stores and shoppping. Everything was perfect about the house. Location was what I envisioned.
I had a girls getaway at Over Yonder and we had a great time. The house was beautiful and was everything we needed it to be. Super close to Leiper's Fork and was perfect for our yearly getaway.
This place was so picturesque in the fall season. There is a beautiful little creek that runs in front of the property that you can hear while relaxing on the porch. The house itself was very roomy and cozy. The host is very responsive and helped me get back an important item that was left behind.
Stayed here while in town for a wedding in Nashville. The town Leipers Fork is really cute to walk around. Lots of neat shops and a great live music place to eat. The house itself was easy to find and we really enjoyed our trips back and forth to Nashville. While further than Iâd Uber, the drive was nice, peaceful and not overly far. We really enjoyed all the mansions along the way. The house was spotless, private, quiet cutely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay and owner was easy to work with. Would absolutely stay here again!
We booked this beautiful home for a girl's weekend (me, my daughter and sister) to attend the Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, TN. We felt welcomed right from the start with our correspondence with Peggy. Her home is very clean and well maintained with charm and hominess throughout. Sadly, Hurricane Helene dampened the festival (we skipped the first night due to the heavy rainfall) but we made other fun, from rocking on the front porch laughing to Scrabble wars and movies in the cozy living room. Beds were comfy and perfect for sleeping in each morning. If we come back to the area, this is 100% where we will stay again! Thank you, Peggy!! Your attention to detail and accommodating generosity were greatly appreciated.
This property was excellent in all aspects. The house was decorated very nicely. It has everything you could want. We felt as though we were at home. The front porch was beautiful with the rocking chairs and porch swing. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back and stay again
My mom, step-dad, husband and I stayed the weekend at Over Yonder for a 83rd birthday trip for my mom. We all absolutely loved it! The house is so pretty and very clean. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in that area. My mom didn't want to leave!
